Stayed here for my anniversary. Room was nice and spacious, but extremely hot. Had to turn on the air conditioning in early December. Heat was coming up from the floor. I was up all night either too hot or too cold. I let the front desk staff know and they basically looked concerned, but did nothing for the inconvenience, except they gave me an extra 3K points for the inconvenience. I will say the breakfast staff was fabulous. They hustled about keeping everything stocked and clean.

Stayed this past Saturday night after all the snow had fallen. Room was spacious and clean. What stood out to me was the staff, especially for breakfast on Sunday morning. Very friendly, engaging, and constantly hustling around cleaning tables, getting more food, and clearing finished plates. I love Residence Inns for the free breakfast and the hard working staff there exceeded expectations.

I have stayed a this particular a number of times for various business trips and I always enjoy it. The rooms are always clean and like most extended stay residences they I clue a refrigerator, a microwave, a conductive burner and also dishes to and a dishwasher for when you don't want to eat out or want to keep some food at home. There are also a number of social events during the week, down in the lobby with free appetizers and alcohol which is convenient for those that want to get out a little bit with someone other than those from work. There is also the Kong Street Plaza a 10 minute walk down the street with a number of restaurants, bars and stores. In addition this hotel is a five minute walk from from the Metro yellow line so you can make it into DC within 25 minutes. Overall this hotel is a nice place to stay if you want a place to relax and hangout with the ability to get into DC quickly.

I stayed here several times. for business travel. Rooms were clean, organized and stocked with typical supplies and kitchen tools. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is easy walking distance to King St., which has a free trolley that drives from King Station (easy walk) to the waterfront. I didn't learn that until too late. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, but not much selection.

Hotel was clean and quiet. If you have trouble walking ,or perhaps travel with children, consider some rooms are far away from the only elevator bank. The southern rooms would be the farthest.

I'm learning the DC area has very small parking garages, so large vehicles be aware. There is a cost for parking.

Breakfast area is larger than I'm used to at Residence Inn, with plenty of staff to keep it stocked and refilled. I think this is plus for this location.

I had a fantastic stay at this Residence Inn. The room was very clean and inviting. They have a complimentary breakfast every morning along with a free happy hour on weekdays with food and beer and wine. It is perfect for an after-work snack and drink and cool down. All of the employees were great. I highly recommend staying here

Great rooms and nice staff - but I discovered a $150 pet charge on my bill after I returned home. Didn't have a pet. Review your bill carefully at checkout!

UPDATE: Hotel rep contact me and reversed the pet charge. All good now!

Rooms are spacious, everything looks clean and new. Price is fair for the area and includes an excellent variety hot breakfast. No bar inside but do complementary happy hour through midweek and partner w/the restaurant/bar next door.

Wonderful overnight last weekend! The room (1 BR) was spacious, comfortable and ultra clean. Staff all exceptionally friendly, helpful and all spoke English. Good breakfast bar. Super location. Parking expensive, so be aware. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in!! Five star!!

Overall I enjoyed my stay here at the Residence Inn. The rooms were clean, spacious and up to par. They have great amenities in the bathrooms as well. The breakfast was decent. They have a full spread w/ hot and cold foods which is included in your stay so that's a plus!

The only issue I had was the front desk receptionist. Think her name was Pam. She was slightly rude upon both check in and out. She acted as if she didn't see me and my mother waiting to be helped. That was off putting. And she shushed me when I was trying to talk to her about an issue concerning our receipt. It didn't take away from our hotel experience but being the face of a hotel means you should treat everyone with respect. All in all, I would stay here again. Just hope we don't run into the same staff member again.

Between the food and the staff you wouldn't notice the rooms only have a queen size bed. We've loved our entire stay here and have felt like it is a home away from home! My only wish is that we would've stayed between Monday and Wednesday night to check out the events they put on those nights! For the price we couldn't have been any closer to King St. Both of the shuttle drivers we had were amazing and helped us get where we wanted and even gave us a mini tour of the area! 5/5 we will be back!

Decent rooms. Overall a fairly nice hotel for the price and area. A little old and small. The breakfast is quite good. We've stayed twice and would stay again if in the area.

Great!!! I rarely write reviews, but I always read them. I couldn't wait to get home and write this review. This hotel was just perfect. There were no issues the entire weekend. I chose this hotel based on the many excellent reviews. The few unfavorable reviews seemed like isolated incidents and I'm glad I didn't let them influence my decision. The suites were very clean and updated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and they had a variety of offerings. Staff assisted my daughter with the waffle maker when it kept beeping and didn't turn out too well on her first try.

Walking two blocks to King Street and catching the free trolly to the waterfront was a treat. Not only was the hotel staff courteous, the people around the hotel was warm and welcoming and very polite. I think I found my new weekend getaway from everyday life.
