Remedez Hair Spa at university place is the BEST!!! Great service & I had the best hair stylist McKenzie G. The gals behind the counter are very courteous. The other stylists are just as friendly. I love Aveada product ❤️

I like my haircuts with Loren. She takes a lot of time. I love the Aveda product called Brilliance. It adds shine without being greasy or heavy.

I usually come here (and only here) to get my hair cut. I don't have a usual stylist, as everyone I've had has been fantastic. I always leave feeling confident and excited with the cut I've chosen to go with. I also LOVE Aveda products, and what I love even more is that the stylist always tells you what they're using, what the main ingredients are, and what the benefits are of using the product. They're never too pushy when it comes to recommending you buy the products, but it's always nice to know that they offer everything they use on you in the store.

I have never been so disappointed in Remedez..
1) the girl didn't even talk to me.. she didn't tell me her name or anything. She probably said 15 words to me the whole visit.
2) I purposely scheduled a basic Pedicure, and not the express one because I wanted the foot massage. Well she went so fast- she literally put the salts on my legs and feet and rubbed them for all of 10 seconds on each leg.. She didn't use the jets in the tub.. she didn't massage my feet.. she just sped through the whole thing.
3) She put the polish on my toes so fast that it smudged and ended of drying all blob-y; and she didn't even cover my whole toes. multiple of my toes don't have polish on the sides at all. She also didn't ask if there was anything else I'd like; like a flower for anything.
The only good thing she did was ask them to change my charge to an express pedicure instead of the regular basic one because she said "I went pretty fast." WELL DUH! It was supposed to be 60 mins, I was in there for literally 20 mins.
I have never been so unsatisfied before with them. That experience ruined it for me. I will probably never be back.

My wife loves this place. It's what she asks for every birthday/ Christmas. Her nails always look great after and she comes back happy and not worried about the cleanliness of the spa.

I was in Salt Lake City for a wedding and only use Aveda products on my hair. I found this salon because it was close to our hotel. I checked in for a master stylist, one who had been with Aveda for a long time and someone considered one of their best. I gave them a description of my hair type over the phone and what I wanted. It was perfect!! The other stylists there at the time were excited about the wedding too! The salon was very nice and the stylists I met were unbelievably sweet.

Most disgusting place ever. Make sure you see the hands of the stylists before they start. The one that I had had a huge cut on her hand and didn't doubt to touch my hair with that condition. I realized it when she was almost done. Gross!

I came here about a year ago to try and find a salon (I moved from salt lake). I wanted a few inches cut off, with soft layers, and smooth highlights. The cut was average but the highlights were so chunky and the stylist didn't choose a color that went well with my tone! They're finally almost grown out and are faded. But I was embarrassed for a few weeks. Would not recommend.

I have been a patron of Remedez for years and have never been disappointed in the results. My only disappointment is the turnover of stylists. On the bright side is the fact that the new stylist I am assigned to is great too. Also, one of my stylists moved to Texas, met my son there, and is now my daughter-in-law. I plan to use Remedez for years to come.

I have been a patron at Remedez for the past eight years. I have changed stylists a few times because mine have moved, gotten married, or had children, but I have never worried- because there is an overall expectation of excellence at this salon. So, you could walk into this place cold, with confidence that your stylist is going to be talented, well trained, friendly, and professional. My current stylist, Liz, is amazing. I can stand in a windstorm and my hair falls right back into place. She's also friendly and intelligent. There are a lot of things to like about Remedez, I would, and have, recommended it to friends and family.
