Service was very pleasant, even considering the massive ongoing construction and renovation during my stay. Rooms were quite nice, but the hotel's parking garage is very inconveniently placed, requiring the use of multiple separate elevators and exterior walkways to reach from the hotel itself. Also, it feels as if the hotel is quite understaffed for the load of guests staying there. Very convenient location to downtown, however.

The Reitz Union hotel veranda offers a great view of Steve Spurrier Florida Field and other parts of campus. Free continental breakfast on hotel floors 5 and 6, starts at 7:00 a.m. There are also several fast food restaurants within the building. Free garage parking for hotel guests. Need your hotel key to access the free parking section. History buffs should check out the UF history time line on the first floor by the elevator.

The location is very convenient if you're visiting either to see the UF campus or downtown Gainesville. However, it can be very busy and many of the dining areas are often packed. Other useful services are available too such as complimentary bike repairs for students and many social events.

It's pretty good for a nights stay but it is rather expensive. My opinion is go somewhere else if you're just staying for the night for a game or event. The location can't be beat of course and the service is pretyy good

Well I'm a student at UF and I haven't been in the rooms. But no one can get to the hotel floors without a key, which is good. Also it is located in best place on campus to get a bunch of different kind of food. There is a lot of construction happening around the area, but as far as I know it isn't loud

I always enjoy staying here. The service is great. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are comfortable. And the location is very centralized to everything in Gainesville.

At the heart of the University of Florida campus, Reitz Union is very convenient for all things Gator. Perfect place to be at for a UF football match. Attending Gator Nights hosted at Reitz every week by UF students is fun.

It was nice that the hotel is located in the same building as the welcome center for the University of Florida as I was here to visit the University. The staff seemed nice and it was a short walk to any of the main parts of the campus. Not to mention there is a food court downstairs. The room was clean and well kept so no complaints.

The location is set in a great location. You can get to a lot of places on foot from there and there is a bus stop hub right outside for anything further. There are a lot of options for food inside and outside the hotel. Everyone is very polite and courteous, but you also get the great vibe of a college town too.
