This has been a great facility for my brother to stay long term care. The staff has been tremendous with handling his needs and been very consistent with communicating about any change of condition. They take the time to get to know their patients and individualize the care for each patient. This place has really been a savior for our family. Thank you.

This is a wonderful facility on the peninsula. Our family member was well taken care of after suffering from an unexpected stroke. We were so impressed with the caring compassion of the staff and how attentive everyone was. The staff from housekeeping to nursing and therapy were amazing, they went above and beyond to connect with us. The facility itself is tucked away in a nice location right off of route 17, centrally located and was convenient for people coming from Hampton or Newport News to visit. The entire staff take pride in keeping the facility clean, the environment was by far cleaner than any hospital or doctor office I’ve been in. If someone needs skilled nursing facility rehab, there isn’t a better place to go in this area.

I have had several family members and friends come here for help after accidents in their life. The staff at Regency has done great work caring for them and providing rehab to get them back home. When we were able to visit it was easy to tell that all the staff took an interest in the patient’s recovery, from the nurses and therapist to housekeeping.
It is a nice little facility, tucked away at the end of a cul de sac off of Route 17 in Grafton. I do recommend this facility if you have someone in your life that needs extra help after being in a hospital.

This place is wonderful. I have been to two other rehab centers, one in Newport News and one in Yorktown and I have to say Regency has been the BEST experience. The staff is so friendly and makes you feel at home, everyone introduced themselves and spoke to you in such a personal level, by the time I left I felt like I knew everyone. The Director of Nursing is so personable and was so available to answer any questions. By far the most professional staff that I have experienced. I was blow away by how clean the facility was. Most importantly the clinical staff got me back home faster than anywhere else I have been, the therapy actually worked me hard everyday and accommodated when I wanted therapy. When they felt like I was close to being ready to go home they actually came out to my home to make sure there were no final barriers. If you live in this area this is the only place you should go if you are serious about getting stronger.

The rehab at this facility is wonderful. No other center on the peninsula compares. I was really blown away at how clean this place was, nursing home stereotypes do not apply here! I highly recommend.

I was recently discharged from here. I have to say they really impressed me and my family. I have been to four other facilities in the past and none of them could compare. The building is always bright and clean. They also made me work in rehab 7 days a week. When I didn't want to participate they somehow convinced me. The staff showed me a lot of compassion. The best thing was they had a chef that prepared the food fresh none of that frozen warm stuff. I have to say if I had to stay long term I would enjoy my stay. Thank you Regency!!!!

Upon visiting a friend at Regency, I was compelled to write. My friend was sitting in a soil diaper for over 4 hrs, I ask her how long has it been since someone came in to check her and change it, and her reply was over 4 hrs. The smell was in the room and this is why I ask my friend. I was under the impression that State laws require an CNA enter a patients room every two hours, is this required at your facility???? And also witnessed so many patients just sitting i wheelchairs in the hallways doing nothing, is this standard practice also??? Also I did notice my friends call bell was no where in sight for her to use, isn't this also required by the State???

I had a friend that was at Regency for a short rehab stay the therapists and staff were really professional and welcoming. The activities kept her busy and out of her room so she could focus on her rehabilitation. I highly recommend Regency!

Regency Rehab exceeded all our expectations. My 91 year old Dad chose Regency for a second rehab. They have a caring and friendly staff. They listened to us and made Dad stronger so he could get his independence back. They did a home visit to focus on improving his daily routine and prescribed at home care to ensure a smooth transition. We highly recommend Regency Rehab. Thank you so much. The Orr's.
