My clothes smelled worse when I left then they did before I got there. Smells.like they don't clean their machines. Also, they charge you a " deposit" on a plastic card that you use with the machines that you never get back.

This Wash Land has ceiling fans which makes it much cooler and seemingly less humid than most other laundry mats. Very clean with excellent staff. All the machines are modern and in good working order. Certainly one of the best laundry mats around.

Today had a very horrible experience with the worker she needs to be talked to about helping her customers , she is telling people she's not going to help them with the cards and she always on the phone talking loud as hell!!!

I had an amazing experience! The attendant, Felicia, was extremely helpful. I had several cards from previous visits and she took the initiative to ask me if I wanted to combine all the cards to one. I was highly impressed with her work ethic. We were at the facility for approximately two hours and I did not see her sit down once! She not only cleaned the outside of the machines, but she also cleaned the insides and I even witnessed her SCRUBBING the compartments where the detergent goes in.
The outside of the facility could be a little more well lit, but Felicia's work ethic made such an impression on me.response / report this review -

I'm in management and the customer service here at the Holland Rd in Virginia Beach Va. is very poor. I would either retrain your staff or FIRE them! I have a washer and dryer at home but I use the laundry mat for my large comforters. My "relaodable" card from another location wouldnt work. I asked the attendant for help and she told me to keep shoving the card in and out of the card reader. I went to her a second time after two other customers processed transactions with no problem and she again told me to "just shove the card in and out of the machine! I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN! I feel bad for people who do not have a washer and dryer at home!

Horrible attendants. Locked the doors open becuase they were too hot. Horrible smoke allegy. Kindly asked for them to close the doors for my allergy. Fail to do so. Said that they were too hot. Replied that they can't make him stop smoking.

Never have an issue here. People that work there are kind, and is always clean! I live in Chic's Beach and drive there passing five other places. If that tells ya anything. :)
