The store it self, is great, we found great things but as i was shopping in the leggings section and a woker looked at her co-worker and said "hahaha that girl thinks she can fit her fat butt into those type of pants.." also, another girl, while we talking to the manger, walked past with an attitude & shoved my mother. The stuff we got is great, but the workers, were extremely rude!!!! Terrible experience!

Sigh this place in my opinion usually has an awesome variety and a lot of really cool stuff. I don't know if they get it from auctions or what but it's obvious that they don't rely solely on donations from people in the surrounding area. That said I believe the stuff is still insanely overpriced. I have seen things that I know must have been free to someone and instead of just charging a couple bucks for it because hey I understand they still have a business to run and employees to pay ..but still they'll just put a ridiculous price tag on it. I have seen items that have an original price tag on it and their price is still more than the price tag of the original item or they charge a dollar less for something that is obviously used when you could buy it new for just a buck more.. It doesn't make any sense to me. Especially when it's implied that they are in the business of helping those less fortunate. So it puts me in a weird spot sometimes because I don't want to shop there and contribute to they're backwardness however they have better stuff there than at other thrift stores soooo grrr haha

This has always been a good thrift store. They've got white tags red tags and green tags. Depending on the day some of those tags are 50% off items. The place is usually packed all day on Saturday. Come early and get the bargains. Wednesdays are some kind of sale day too I think.

What I hate about this store is that they seem to forget that all the stuff they have they got for free. The prices are incredibly expensive. They think they're Kaufman's or something. What a scam!

A lot of good stuff but quite overpriced. I’m surprised since it is 100% profit. Some prices seem to be a bit steep. I have seen a few items with the original price tag that is lower than RW& B price. I wish they would have a few items that are dirt cheap.

You can find some amazing stuff as long as you're willing to deal with people with bad attitudes. Customers pretend not to see you when you need to pass by them and every aisle is only wide enough for one shopping cart. The employees are worse but then again they're dealing with customers with attitudes and people not paying attention in the checkout lane. There is also no dressing room. However, I've found some fantastic deals on some great stuff. Gotta have time to look. Parking lot sucks too. Go slow 😊

The parking lot is a bit hectic and this place is aways busy. This place is big and gets some good stuff but prices are a little high compared to other thrift stores in the pittsburgh area.

I've been bringing my daughters here for years to find beautiful fashions at a price that a single-Mom can afford Given the choice, my girls choose to come here to get WAY more bang for their buck.

Some of the largest selection in this region. Plenty of color-tag reduced items daily. Parking, as well as entry and existing lot, can be tricky, so CAUTION AND PATIENCE ADVISED!

Although I love the selection and prices, I am very turned off by the behavior of the employees. They're usually very loud, use foul language and carry on conversations on the floor. The layout is extremely cramped as well.

This place is a joke like when they have all except one color off tags Go in one day there a red tag than the next day and their a yellOw tag Spefically, talking about the stuff they have behind the counter that's where they color change scam is smfh Get stuff for nothing and charges almost what items cost new in store. smfh

I have been shopping at this store since 1983! It is my absolute favorite thrift store, and as thrift shopping is basically my hobby, I am familiar with many around the area.
Things people complain about: You *will* spend a long time looking, because clothes are not sorted by size, and the store has no dressing rooms. I learned when I was in high school, though, to wear a skirt, a camisole, and/or a bathing suit, and to just go ahead and try stuff on in the open. Go ahead, this is far from etiquette central; nobody is judging you while they're also sorting through used stuff.
Frequently you will spend a *really* long time waiting in line. It's a function of the place being so awesome that it's always crowded. Plan ahead and don't whine about it. They sell books and magazines. Get one, or play on your phone, or just do your trying on while you're in line. You're about to save a big pile of money in an entertaining way; half an hour of your life for this privilege is a feature, not a flaw.
This store is best for clothes and shoes; other stores have dramatically fewer things and frequently higher prices. Other thrift stores tend to have lower prices on housewares and books. The HUGE inventory makes it worth looking here first, anyway, though; you may pay $5 for something another store would price at $2, but the other stores are much less likely to have it in the first place. With the half price sale every Saturday, and the various discount days throughout the week, paying a little more for the occasional item is washed out by all the things you're getting a fantastic deal on.
Parking is better than it used to be, since they finally bought the big empty lot next door. No it isn't a great lot (very potholed, and puddly when it rains) but I *always* find a spot. The very farthest spots are not as far away as the farthest spots in your average Giant Eagle or Target lot.
The staff isn't tremendously friendly or helpful. That's because this is a high volume thrift store so they're really busy all the time and they don't work for a huge chain and probably aren't union so they don't make a ton of money or have great benefits or get fun breakroom perks. All of this is a function of the fact that it's AMAZINGLY CHEAP to shop there, so again: it's a feature, not a flaw. Be nice to them and they'll be nice to you. Or anyway they'll be polite. Just buy your stuff and don't expect to be entertained as well; if you were a special princess you wouldn't be shopping here anyway.response / report this review -

Great selection, two levels. Really narrow aisles and cluttered spaces. It is very hard to navigate with a buggy, like a maze. But with patience you can find some good deals
