Very clean Motel. Large spacious room for a good price. Very pet friendly with grass to walk dogs and a ramp to the second floor. It's not fancy and the continental breakfast is minimal but the price is good the staff was friendly and if you're traveling with pets it's a great place to stay.
Nice sized room and convenient access to I-95. Water temperature could have been hotter. Looking forward to a hot shower after a long day on the road but got a Luke warm one instead.
Fantastic price at $54 for 2 people in King non smoking room. Fridge & microwave in room. Very quiet & safe area. Nice breakfast. Spotless hot shower. Very enjoyable night.
Room was dirty, sheets had stains and blood on them. Bathroom wasn't much better. Tub had rust and dripped constantly. Worse part was BED BUGS!! My husband took two of them to the front desk as we were leaving. All she said was thanks for letting us know. No offer of a discount or refund. STAY AWAY!!!
UPDATE : Called corporate office and they were very sorry about the bed bugs and are issuing a complete refund. Thanks Tony at corporate office!
Got tired on my way up north while escaping the hurricane. Came right in and I was setup with a room within minutes. The room was probably renovated sometime within the past few years. Staff was friendly and everything was clean. Very easy access to I-95 as well. Only minor complaint was the shower water came out aggressively and caused a little puddle outside of the shower even after only being in there for 5 minutes.
I would give this hotel a zero star if I could. We just went through Irma and a lot of people and businesses experienced no power I called to make sure the hotel was not booked up. Well I got no answer all 5times I called. The people I booked through said my card would not be charged. My card got charged the full amount. I call the hotel to explain what happened and told them even if I didnt show they were only suppose to take the taxes and fees not the whole amount the guy proceeds to tell me I have no proof I called and that my money was basically lost because of me. I tried to explain that was the last bit of money I had to last me til I got paid. The guy tells me oh well and hangs the phone up in my face! Worse people ever.
I absolutely love this hotel. This location has the biggest and roomiest rooms. They are clean and cozy. The staff is very friendly. An all around awesome hotel!
Bath tub was rusty. Swimming pool was filled in to look like a mulch garden. coffee pot is not in the room you have to go to the front desk and ask them to make you a pot so you can have a cup to bring to your room. The doors on the first floor rooms (sliders) do not open. I am not sure why but the second floor rooms had usable sliders. I was told the double bed room would have a pull out couch. Nope. When I called for a cot blamed me for not booking that. Would provide nothing. The dog was free to stay. This is a poorly run facility and not helpful to guests at all. You don't feel like a guest you feel like your an intruder paying to stay somewhere you don't want to be.
Room was a smoking room as requested but the shower head was broken, the trash in the bathroom was not empty, the "balcony" is nothing more than a banister a half foot away from the sliding glass doors (No space to sit out there) and the room I booked did not match the description on the Travelocity website. Booked in late August the positive side is that it is quiet and mostly empty. The staff are quick quiet and to the point.
By far the most disgusting hotelno, place, I have ever had the misfortune to step into. If I could give less than one star I would. The entire hotel smells like weed, cigarettes, sex, and piss sprinkled with a light dusting of pine tree car air freshener. Our room is a concrete stained dog fighting pit coated with some spray paint. Exposed wiring, empty light sockets, confusing bed stains, and a crusty/half-working air machine make up the amenities provided to us. I feel disgusting just standing in the building and to be honest, your 50-80 bucks is probably better spent paying a random truck driver to pull over and let you sleep with him for the night. I imagine that experience would at least smell better. Do yourself a favor and book at the Days Inn across the street for 20-30 more bucks.
We have stayed at a remodeled Red Roof in Ocala, Florida that was truly nice. We are so upset with the partial remodeling of this Red Roof in Brunswick, Georgia. The bath tub has not been replaced. There are black areas around the caulking. The sink is new but the light switch over the sink does not work. The table and chairs in the room are chipped. The flooring is new. The beds are old but at least the bedding is clean.
The hotel looks to have been remodeled. However, there are some things about it that look cheap or not finished well. We just stayed one night on our way down to florida. For what we paid, we knew what we were getting. It wasnt bad for the price.
Pleasantly surprised! Lovely clean, spacious, comfortable room. Staff great. Exceptional value. We will definitely try Red Roof Inns again.
Never staying here again. They redid the roof while we were staying. Loud construction all day. there was a party room next door at night. Smelled like cigarettes from other guests in our non smoking room. Says dog friendly but my dog was forced to walk on old roofing materials that were left on walkway overnight. Also wifi was spotty at best. We've stayed in quite a few hotels but this is by far the worst experience.
