First I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. This is a no frills motel but it is very clean the bed was comfortable and overall I would recommend it to others.

Clean rooms, friendly people. A wonderful experience. We had been evacuating from FL and were very weary from travel. Extremely affordable price, good wifi, and dog friendly! The room was clean, and a sight for our sore eyes. I would come back here any day

Super friendly staff! Rooms were ok, I could definitely use some updating! Pricing for hotel was rather expensive but we were evacuating from Irma. All in all under the conditions not a bad stay!

Our non smoking room smelt like smoke obviously once a smoking room. Otherwise room was clean and no problems. Pet friendly if needed.

This hotel was adequate. There was plenty of room and the room was mostly clean. It just did not seem to have the feel of a big hotel chain like Super 8 tries to have.

I was an overnight guest at this motel (Super 8 Darien) on 2/18/2017. When I booked the room I was on the interstate and searched online for a close motel to spend the night, when I read the reviews they were all rated around 4-5 stars, with a quote of $52 a night. When I arrived the clerk at the desk told me that those rates did not apply to this motel, must of been another exit, (not) tired after driving for 13 hours, I paid the rate of $68 plus tax with the rate of the motel $81.16 for the night. When I looked at the room she gave me, it was smelly, bedspreads were stained, and they had ants in the bathroom, the rugs looked dirty, calling the front desk I asked about the ants and she seemed to feel it was ok not a problem, I asked for another room, which she was not too pleased about, after moving all of our stuff from one room to another, the room that she gave me was pretty much like the other one, rugs dirty, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and ceilings were nasty looking. Being extremely tired and not wanting to deal with this lady again, I looked for bedbugs saw none, pulled down the dirty bedspreads and took a sleeping pill so I would not have to be overly concerned about the room. I would not rate this motel any higher than one star if that. Please be aware that this motel would not be a place for you to stay overnight, not cleaned, smelly, dirty rugs and moldy ceilings.
