Front staff was really nice i will say that but the rooms are Disgusting! The first room i checked into the jacuzzi tub was horrible and filthy and had a spider in it. i asked her for something to clean it but she ended moving me to another jacuzzi room, from the looks of it, the jacuzzi tub wasn’t that bad until i started to clean it myself, nasty gunks and hair came off of the filter in the tub and i saw stains on the tub as i got closer. Not to mention when i went into the bathroom the tub was just nasty, had stains in it and two dead bugs, you can tell no one actually cleans there, i again had to clean that myself, btw i didn’t even use the jacuzzi, i didn’t feel comfortable knowing that filter had all kinds of nasty trapped germs and bacteria and hair in it. The heat didn’t work all night, it literally started to work 10 minutes before our checkout, what a joke. Also, the hotel is unorganized in letting the housekeeping know that they have guest occupying rooms, the rude housekeeping lady came banging on my door at 10(checkout is 11) woke me up, and came in the room. I had to yell out to her that someone’s in here, all she said was “i didn’t hear you” and slammed the door back behind her, she didn’t bother to say I’m sorry to bother you or anything like that, THEN came back again at 10:50 banging on my door again, “y’all getting ready to checkout, leave the latch between the door.” And walked off, so unprofessional, not to mention the bed is not comfortable at all, the pillows yes but the bed feels like you’re sleeping on crunchy paper. I will NEVER stay here again, jacuzzi “suite” or not, it was disgusting.
Affordable, free WiFi, flat screens, decent. Would recommend. :)
This place was pretty. It was very clean and a tiny bit modern (in a good way). I liked it. I would definitely visit this location again.
Very clean rooms, good breakfast, and very impressed that it is pet friendly. Will for sure stay there again, staff was great
This is an Absolutely HORRIBLE place to stay at! DO NOT GO HERE! I truly wish that I would have seen the reviews on here before staying here, because all of the negative reviews seem to be very accurate and true.
I booked two nights here (9/12-9/13 & 9/13-9/14) for four rooms in total. We ended up leaving the next day (today 9/13) due to the bugs! We all woke up with bug bites all over our skin. Bites all over our bodies, and our skin itching uncontrollably.
Mold on A/C units in ALL of the rooms. A/C units were also making a weird revving noise every once and awhile, and would not cool down rooms.
There are/were baby palmetto bugs in ALL of the bathrooms. The baby palmetto bugs were coming out of the sinks and tub drains.
There is/was bodily fluid on one of the walls of room 315 that is completely visible and should have been cleaned by staff. It appears to be someone's hardened yellow snot.
The TV's in the bedrooms were not working, and continued to go in and out saying out of service, etc.
There were spiders in room 316. There is/was even a cobweb in the "closet area" by the door to the room with 2 spiders in it.
We asked to moved to a different room and we were told that they didn't have any other rooms available, and that the rooms that were being cleaned by housekeeping were already reserved.
We asked them to please have our rooms cleaned. We waited 4 hours and no one ever came to clean the rooms.
We could not handle the itching from the bugs any further, and told them that we had to leave and seek reservations elsewhere.
We were told that we would get a full refund for the 2nd night (we should have received a complete full refund due to the bugs, etc), But after we had already packed up our belonging and got things situated in our cars, the guy at the front desk decided to change his mind and told us that he would only refund us for 2 of the rooms for one night.
I told him no. We already had all of our stuff packed. He then offered us other rooms, even though when we asked before he told us that there were no rooms available at all.
We asked to speak to a supervisor. The guy at the counter called her and let me speak to her. When I spoke with her, she accused me of bringing in the bugs, blaming them on my two dogs.
Completely insulting and disgusting behavior from this stagg.
We ended up accepting the 2 room / 1 night refund, and I will be disputing the rest with my credit card company.
After leaving, I checked my bank account, and saw that 4 more charges of $70.53 had been charged by this hotel.
The extra money that they took from me was suppose to cover the rest of my trip home back to Florida (We were in Georgia for four days in total after being evacuated due to hurricane Irma). When I spoke to the woman who answered, I was literally in tears because I didn't know what to do, and she laughed at me, Not once, but twice.
I am completely disgusted, and saddened that this hotel could treat anyone like this.
PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE BEFORE STAYING HERE! IT'S NOT WORTH IT!
Checked in evacuating Florida on a Thursday. They put us in room 310 and the first night my granddaughter got eaten up by something. The beds were all encased in plastic. Asked if we could change rooms and they accommodated us and moved us to 303. We were there for 3 more nights and I have huge swollen bites all over me, including my face. We tried to find other accommodations but could not! We wound up leaving in the midst of the storm hitting Auguata because I could not take the bites any more! I only give it 1 star because the front desk lady and housekeeper were so kind and seeet! Stay away!!
I'll start with a positive. The staff was very friendly. But the room was not clean. There was something brown all over the light switch in the bathroom. The towel rack had greasy fingerprints all over it. I wiped both of those clean pretty quickly myself, which tells me the housekeeping staff just didn't have any attention to detail. The floor was not clean, and it was really grimy around the night stand. The night stand had clearly not been wiped down. The sheets looked clean but the bed and pillows were not comfortable. I have had good experiences with Red Roof Inn in the past, but I couldn't wait to leave this room.
This hotel is perfectly located for what we needed (were moving into the neighborhood and needed a place to sleep while being available for contractors on house). Front desk was super friendly and went over and above to help us (we came too early but she saw how tired we were and she pushed to get us a room about two hours earlier than policy). Rooms were nice, clean, and comfy. We liked that they had an on-site coin laundry because our luggage was delayed. Complimentary breakfast is always nice. Pool would have been nice had the weather held up.
The entire stay was a nightmare the room was horible it had water damage broken fixtures broken mirrors broken tiles around the tub wall damage and wall paint on the door knobs and handles the towel rack was rusted and ready to fall on the second day we asked if the room could be cleaned and restocked with towels since they only give you enough for one bath the made the bed and gave us one towel a piece and zero toilet paper it was the most embarrising thing ive ever done to have to walk back from the front desk carrying rolls of toilet paper never again will i stay at a Red Roof In Never Beware!!!
Good staff. Good rooms. Issues with some things in the hotel but they are doing work on then to upgrade/fix anything that is necessary so I don't hold it against them too mich.
Ever been to a hotel even with a do not disturb sign posted; you still get harassed? You feel like your money isn't as important as the next person because housekeeping is rushing you to leave, your room has already been booked to another guest. If you understand then this hotel is for you. You will not be bothered and the staff here make you feel at home. They have a washer and dryer if you have a last minute emergency and need clean clothes. This hotel may not have curb appeal but neither do I. I wouldn't be anyone's first choice; in a blind test I would be everyone's first choice. You cant judge a book by it's cover because even the cover can sometimes be deceiving. These rooms are clean, contemporary and the price is much better than the high end fancy hotels around. Sometimes you have to rethink your standards! I have stayed at a popular high end chain where the TRAINED staff were rude and disgusting to me after I informed them of the bedbugs I found. I was very professional and laid back considering the grossness of the situation ( I was being too nice). I travel often and I want a good rate and hospitality. You get that here!!!
Room were clean. Staff friendly. Thin walls! Could hear next room's tv and activity. The towels are small. The hotel has lots of security cameras. Simple breakfast includes waffles. Elevator was out of service during my visit and it was a holiday.
Room was dirty when we got there, there were stains on the sheets, and crumbs all in the made up bed. They came and changed everything quick though. The breakfast almost isn't worth it.
