Dirty sheets on both beds in the room. Couldn't connect to WiFi. When I mentioned it to front desk, I was told I could wait for an hour until the manager came in. Sure, I will holdup my trip.Have stayed here without issue in the past. Must be new management and help.

Walls thin. Can hear everything. But other than that it is a great place. Good price. Friendly staff.

It's a budget hotel I paid $66.00 for my nights stay. I didn't mind that some things on the property weren't in perfect order or falling apart for the price. I've stayed at worse for more. It's a place to crash and shower. I wasn't there for the legendary continental breakfast (there really isn't one if you truely curious). It's not the worst place but I found it better than a Super 8.

Would have been a great hotel except for the kids that like to pull the fire alarm every 15 minutes starting after 2 am. Apparently management couldn't do anything about this. Also the schizophrenic shower that cycled between scalding hot and freezing every 3 minutes.

Just got hereworker at front desk did not even look up as we walked in. found tobacco rolling papers hidden in a cup in the bathroom, there was hair on the sink. Room looks decently clean but bathtub is definitely chipping. We also have a nice view of a dumpster, if that makes it any better. *update, the ac is making loud noises, bare bulb and no vent in bathroom

Well lets start with check-in.. The gentleman working was nice, but lacked computer skills to enter guest info. This Red Roof is the only one in the US that couldn't accept my discount code and still took around 30 min to get check-in. Also while checking in, guest from the nearby Motel 6 were there using the pool. The room was very out dated. Bed was well worn in. Frig was unplug so, it had a nice smell to it. Also coffee pot and lamp cords did not reach any electrical outlet. Tub in bath room had hair in it from the last guest. Also the side door was broken, so anyone could walk in. TV only received local TV station. It felt like this was just some old mom and pop hotel and not what you would expect red roof to be.I will never stay here again and this was the most $$ I have spent at a Red Roof

Thankfully leaving in the morning. Will be staying elsewhere next visit. We have been using this motel since the mid 90's when it was Comfort Inns & Suites to have a pool for the kids. This stay was bar none the WORST. I WILL NEVER BE BACK. Here's the list of things for you to consider.
1.The excuse our mess we're remodeling papers hanging about, I feel are bull to make you think the mess is from construction. No ongoing renovations were to be seen.
    2. The carpet in the hall's are the same as it's always been but in disrepair, stained and dirty.
    3. Our first night was a hot one with a possessed ac unit that was a possible fire hazard.
    4. The second night we are thankfully moved to a room with ac but you have to lift the door up and hold it shut to get it to latch.
    5. Both rooms we have been in have floors dirty enough to get your feet black if you walk barefoot any period of time.
    6. Both rooms bathrooms have mildew and toilets you have to hold on the handle to get to flush.
    7. Sheets are clean but stained in both rooms.
    8. This second room has one light in the entryway that doesn't work even after my wife went and got a bulb and replaced it. One of the lights by the beds is broken and is at a 45° loose and floppy.
    9. My daughter just found out the shower has no hot water. Evidently the scald guard safety feature is broken and only cold water comes out.
    10. The staff is friendly.
    11. Also the free wifi is inaccessible so prepare to use data if you have to stay here.

I have never given such a scaling review but I've never had so much cannon fodder as well. Our checkout in the morning will not go well. Again first time ever to want a refund from a motel.

Missy and her staff are so courteous. They are also equipped with a lift for the pool and encourage handicap and elderly to use the facility. We stay here whenever we are in Kentucky, we could stay elsewhere, but we prefer the Red Roof Inn.

Good price, the rooms were good with comfortable beds. Though I wish they would have had shampoo and conditioner rather than the conditioning shampoo. The pool area was really hot and the water was overly chlorinated. Breakfast wasn't nothing special, the waffles tasted sour and the coffee was cold and the juice had a gnat in it. Overall it was a decent place to stay and get a good night's sleep and the kids did enjoy swimming in the pool.

Worst hotel experience in town, only rivaled by the days inn. Both are owned by the same family who don't seem to care about their customers.

Once I got in my room I noticed that the sheets were worn with several tears. The shower was chipped and our ac unit wouldn't even start. The front desk was clueless and barely understood English.

Only go here if it's your last resort. Read the other reviews because it appears my experience matches that of others.

Went to check in on Saturday night June 24th 2017 and the man working the front desk was complaining about the system being down and all the rooms that were available needed maintenance. Then proceeded to tell my husband a good looking woman checked in before us and he may just need to make a copy of the key card to her room to " go take a look at her". They really should screen their employees who interact with customers face to face to see that they aren't perverts/sexual predators. I do not recommend this location!

I was locked out of my room with all my stuff in it until maintenance man had to come and take the door knob off the door witch took 5 hours to do so and was told by the management that I would be reimbursed on my stay. I was not reimbursed by management like he said I would be. I guess he was to busy making out behind the counter with his boyfriend!! P.S. Watch out for the hookers and drug dealers that will literally drive up to you in the parking lot. Not at all happy about my stay! Will never stay there again.

As soon as you walked in, the lobby was smelly and dirty. The lady was eating pizza as she was checking us in. The hallway smelled like smoke. We had to go back downstairs, waited and hollered for someone for ten minutes, called the front desk from our room to get the wifi password. No one came or picked up and password was nowhere to be found. I wrote a note and left it on the computer for someone to call our room. They called at 1am and never apologized. The bathroom was nasty as the ceiling had mold and face cloths had hair. The bed was really comfortable and clean. The window was cracked 100% and they taped it up. Would not stay here again as it was way too pricey for what we got.

Well, after driving all night and being unable to find anything else, this was where we ended up. As many others have saidthe hotel does have a strange smell. I can't quite make it outalmost a cross between burnt hair and hair coloring. Maybe this place is adjacent to a hair salon..no idea. When you're exhausted at 5:30 in the morning because nothing else was available, you take what you can get.

The hotel itself is in dire need of a renovation. Overall the entire place is older, but not overly worn. The biggest issue appears to be a lack of attention to detail. While we didn't find anything in the fridge (after reading another review, I didn't dare check) or any other leftover items, bugs or anything else nasty in the room, the housekeeping/maintenance seemed marginal at best. The bathroom had less than half a roll of toilet paper and no spare. No shampoo or anything beyond towels and a single bar of soap. The wood on the bottom of the door was starting to delaminate and chip away. Plugs almost fell out of the power outlet and didn't appear to make a good connection. The bed was comfortable enough and the sheets and pillowcases appeared to be clean. Like I said earlier5:30 AM. Anything short of the Bates Motel would have sufficed.

I didn't see anything that made me concerned for my safety. No sketchy people in the parking lot or surrounding area. No loud noise from anywhere.

On the bright side, the lady at the front desk was friendly. She only charged me $79 vs the $99 stated on Google. She also allowed us to stay beyond the checkout time due to our checking in so late. If I had to rate her service, she easily would have received 4 or 5 stars. This helped offset the 2 stars for the facility itself. The free wifi worked well with ample bandwidth (11 meg down/1 meg up).

If you have other options available, you may wish to check them outbut in a pinch, this place is a little better than sleeping in your car.
