Pet friendly and there is a large grassy area away from the road to throw a ball for the dog. However, the inside was unclean. The shower curtain smelled like pee. There was a lingering scent in the whole room that was off putting. Staff was friendly. Very minimal breakfast.

Red Roof Inn is our preferred hotel each time we come to town. The staff are very professional and are readily available to assist with any need that may arise. The complimentary breakfast is a pleasant bonus. I noticed during our most recent stay I noticed the rooms have been nicely refreshed/upgraded.

Hotel was dirty and the floors in the room we stayed in looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a month. Do not recommend this hotel. Check out clerk took forever to come to the desk to check me out because she had to go outside to smoke.

The bed linens had been striped off the bed, but there were no clean sheets. Had to get them then make the bed ourselves.
After, of course, I killed the giant silverfish in the bathroom.

Staff was wonderful, very professional. Room was hot. Staff explained AC were not left on, understand conserve energy but very uncomfortable. Floors were nasty, spilled beverage between beds, bathroom had used soap in shower, hair and small black pieces of something on floor. FD staff gave me cleaning rag and supplies so I could clean as other room offered was worse. Just passing through but not worth the 94.00 rate.

In the area for quite awhile working on the I-85 Expansion Project and was glad to find a place that allowed pets, plenty of space to park our trucks, continental breakfast, and clean rooms. Red Roof Inn Gaffney has delivered and exceeded our expectations. Staff and Owners have been very helpful and patient as we come and go at very odd times pending our work schedule. The place is an older establishment that has been newly remodeled (some improvements still going on i.e. new A/C, office chair, irons, etc.) in the heart of anything you would need for either vacation, travel, or business. We've been here for 2 weeks now and will return again on Monday. We have had no major issues or inconveniences and look forward to returning.

It was acceptable. It smelled kind of weird and the towels were thin and small, but the staff was friendly. It was cheap.

HORRIBLE HOTEL!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE!! OWNER AND HOTEL WILL NOT ACCOMODATE!!! IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!!! The owner called us liars saying that we didn't disclose how many pets we had, when IN FACT we told the girl that checked us in how many, BUT THEY FAILED TO CHARGE US FOR THEM. (We didn't find out until checkout after we had stayed there for almost a weekand it's funny that they never mentioned it before we checked out). So because THEY made the mistake, WE became liarsand they had the nerve to blacklist us from the hotel. It's dingy and dirty anyway. Stay at the Sleep Inn and Suites 100 yards down the road instead.

I loved the front desk staff, the young man working 3rd shift was so polite and helpful. He was such a treat. Love this place, will definitely be back. Hopefully soon.

Pet friendly? Hardly!
No pets are allowed in the room unattended. Of course they didn't tell me that until after I'd secured a room for a week, stating that i planned to be there up to 4 months. For convenience, I spent a couple nights before finding other accommodations. When I told the clerk why I was checking out after only two nights, she said it would not have happened if I'd declared the pet at check in. When I assured her I did, she said that was impossible because they don't offer weekly rates for pet owners (but they did). You know the old saying, "the employee is never wrong". I might have got that part wrong Small TVs, not HD.

My father is 75 and he's dying. My mother and my father live in Georgia my mother calls me upset because my dad is missing she believed he was on his way to North Carolina to visit me and his grandkids we found him at the Red Roof Inn in Gaffney he had been there for 2 days confused I had my friend drop me off and the next morning I was getting my dad some clean clothes out of his car and the management approached me threatening to call the cops if I didn't leave immediately because I was not a registered guest I tried to explain the situation and even showed them a key card to my father's room to reassure them that I was not loitering in the parking lot but they were very rude and would not even let me tell my daddy what was going on I left went across the street down the road to the Sleepy Inn where I called my mother and told her what was going on she begged me to come down and try to get my dad in the car so we could get him home the management of this Motel had no right to harass me and turn and upsetting situation into a catastrophe I strongly recommend staying far away from this establishment
