Room (& bathroom) was very clean and tidy! Updated floors and decor and space enough for our pack n play. Great value for the price.
Cons: mattresses need updateda little springy, but we slept well regardless!
Thank you Red Roof Inn.
I've stayed at plenty of hotels in my life and this had to be the worst one. I asked for the larger "superior" room, I was given a regular HANDICAP room. The bathroom was honestly a gym locker room, toilet, sink with no vanity, and a shower with a curtain. The entire bathroom gets wet when you shower and there's nothing you can do about it. The bed was extremely springy and super uncomfortable. We were unable to adjust the heat so we had to turn the ac unit on to cool the room off some, the unit sounded like a jackhammer, something not right. The room was never really cleaned. The bed was made and pillows were fluffed but sheets were never changed. The one dog policy was complete BS the room next to us had 4, and they barked NONSTOP. During our stay it snowed, we were assured the lot would be cleared, it wasn't. The final night all of the melted snow froze over and all of the ramps to the side walk froze over, the staff didn't put salt out until 11am. I hope nobody fell because of the staff's foolishness. I didn't expect much when I booked at this place but I expected better than this. I could have slept in my car and been more comfortable. If you're debating spending 20 more bucks a night or going with this place, SPEND THE MONEY. This place SUCKED!
Centrally located to downtown and Biltmore. Clean and simple. I enjoyed my stay. Not bad for the money.
Should have been a 2 star but I liked the guy at the front desk. They gave us a room and it hadn't been cleaned or anything. Guy at the front desk was super nice and found us a clean room.
Hubby, fur baby & I stayed 3 nights last week to enjoy a vacation in Asheville. Outstanding staff, clean room, gazebo on the grounds is a really nice plus. Far enough from the highway that we didn't have to listen to cars all night but close enough it's easy to find.
Treats in the office for our dog were a neat idea!
Stayed for 2 nights with my girlfriend and we absolutely loved the place.
Couple of stink bugs here and there but they were always on the wall so they were easy to scoop up and take outside.
Beautiful location to bee at.
13love!
**CAUTION BED BUGS**
My fiance and I were traveling to SC for a family medical emergency on the night of 8/21/17. It was the night of the solar eclipse and there were no rooms to be found. It was 3am, we were exhausted and The Red Roof Inn was the only hotel that had ONE room left. We went in and as always I inspected the beds for bed bugs. In my years and years of traveling, this was the FIRST time I have ever seen bugs. There were 2 live bugs on one bed and a blood stain in between the mattress and box spring of the other bed. We immediately left and returned the keys to the clerk . He gave me a receipt stating that the room was canceled and assured me that my credit card will be refunded the room charge. I am waiting on my statement to see if I was in fact refunded my money. If not I will definitely be calling their Corp. Office!! I highly doubt I will ever stay at a Red Roof Inn again!!
This was such a spotlessly clean room. I could "feel" the clean when I opened the door and walked in. I had been driving for more than eleven hours and was so tired. It was a hot day and when I arrived the room was nice and cold. They had the AC blasting. It smelled good. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. The price was reasonable. I ended up staying two days instead of just overnight because it was so cozy. This is a nice place to stay.
Honestly not bad at all relatively clean and cheap. Perfect for a last minute stay but I would look elsewhere if you plan on staying for more than one or 2 nights
I stayed here 1 night. It was very easy to find, & it had quick access to the highway. It's close to a few fast food restaurants, & there is a Cracker Barrel about 5 minutes away by foot. I was nervous about their pet policy, but the dogs didn't bark at all throughout the night and there were no traces of pets or pets odors in the room. The AC was fantastic, & the workers were friendly. It was fine for a one night stay, and the price was great!
Great prices. Very convenient, right off highway. Still pretty quick for being close the highway. Friendly staff. Rooms were clean. Clean parking lot. Overall a clean convenient place to staff. Price's not bad as well. Thanks Red Roof
We felt location was a bit difficult to find, not well marked after turning off interstate. Room and motel very well kept up and clean. However the bathroom was extremely small and plaster coming off ceiling which is always a turn off for me . Beds were comfortable, sheets white, crisp and new.
Stayed here for 2 nights recently while visiting Asheville to pursue a job opportunity. Staff was friendly and helpful, hotel was in very good condition and kept clean. My particular room, with a king bed, did not have a microwave, refrigerator or coffee maker, however coffee is available in the hotel lobby. The hotel does not provide a hot breakfast in the morning (other than coffee). Location is convenient to I-40, however the closeness to the highway is also a drawback as you can hear trucks, loud cars and motorcycles from your room.
