Very helpful in deciding which trails we might want to take! Small, but nice gift shop. The bathrooms even had the refillable water bottle station!

A gorgeous variety of desert landscape is presented for people of all ability levels to explore and enjoy, from those looking for a scenic drive to those more interested in hiking and rock climbing.

The bulk of this visitor’s center is located outdoors. The inside is sparse, but it is air-conditioned. The outdoor exhibits are sizeable and are designed with children in mind. The gift store has a number of local pieces available and is great if you need to bring someone back a gift from Vegas. When we visited there was a local living history exhibit regarding the town of Blue Diamond. It was very interesting discussing the town with a local who had grown up in the community. Expect long lines on holiday weekends.

Well done visitor center. Great for kids. Wonderful views and exhibits. Close to Las Vegas so that you need not spend all day there. $7 entrance fee per car. Go here the views are stunning. You can hike, rock climb some rocks, take pictures, picnic or just enjoy the views. This park has a 13 mile scenic drive that has plenty of stops, and bathrooms. This is perfect for a disabled person because they can see the beauty of the park from the car or parking lots. I've been coming here for years and have seen the park grow and the number of visitors glow too. Highly recommended.

This is a very nicely laid out park and visitor center. If you make a trip to Las Vegas this is a worthwhile day trip. Just west of the city.

Nice views. Cool informational visitor center. Would like to see better signs for the scenic loop, as its easy to accidentally take the scenic drive, and once you are on it, you're stuck for 13 miles. Other than that great place!

Incredible park. When you enter the park you feel like you are on another planet. The red rocks of the Aztec sandstone (most Western extension of the Colorado Plateau, same strata from the grand canyon) are exquisite. It is beautiful to just drive around the loop, but there are several incredible hikes. There is a pretty short hike out to these sandstone quarries with amazing vistas, the turtle head peak hike is a bit challenging but the view is spectacular. You can see the Vegas strip from the top. I even saw donkeys and big horn sheep. It is a great place to rock climb as the sandstone provides great traction. Take lots of water it can get very hot!
I went on a guided hike that the park provided ( they have several and can be found in the visitors center. The hike was led by a fellow geologist and I had the best time talking with home about the local geology. He was very knowagable and showed me some AMAZING fault breccia, dinosaur footprints, and so much more.

Fantastic we bring all of our friends that come in town. Our favorite hikes and trails are Ice box, calico tanks, oak and pine creek. Calico tanks has a stunning view of Las Vegas at the end of the trail. The trails are marked and easy to follow. We do a number of photo shoots up here as well it's worth every cent of $7 per car. $5 for commercial vehicles (tour buses and limousines, for example), $3 for motorcyclists and tour bus riders, free for bicyclist and hikers who park at the loop entrance; an annual pass is available for $30.

DO NOT UBER/LYFT HERE! My fiance and I were stranded. The website does not let you know that you need a car to get around and the volunteers will not let you use any of the THREE wireless networks so you can call another Uber/Lyft. The allow you to use a landline to call an expensive taxi, which we took to Red Rock Casino until we could call another Lyft. We didn't get to see any of the Canyon since the visitor center is in the middle of nowhere, nowhere near any of the trailheads.

Fantastic. Amazing. Outstanding. I've been to Vegas two dozen times and somehow I never managed to get to Red Rock Canyon. But I'm glad I did this time. The visitor center doesn't have a lot, but the scenic drive is shocking. Just drive it, or park and hike. But bring your camera.

For a visitor center they're very large and friendly. The staff knows everything that there is to know about the area and history. They gave us a good breakdown of the map and advice as to what places to stop (along the drive through the park) that would suit our touristy selves. 😊

Great source of education about the canyon and rock formations along with the indigenous wildlife and flora. the views are breathtaking as well. Visit during spring and summer and see the resident tourtoises (they hybernate during winter). Snow peaks are full this year (2017) and scenic route is mesmerizing. The weather is very transient, changes daily. There are a TON of trails to enjoy hiking, of various skill levels.

Very clean, very welcoming. One of the better visitor centers I been to. They have a really cool back area full of information. If you haven't gone there I suggest Stopping in and getting a little souvenir. Keep red rock clean :)
