My wife and I were on our 10 anniversary and had never flown in a helicopter. We decided what better time and place. No disappointment! Dan was our pilot he was friendly and informative. We really enjoyed the experience and plan do it again with our kids.

We are in Arizona on our honeymoon and drove 4 hours to Boulder City to take the Helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon West Rim! Hans our pilot and tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and walked us through each step completely! I cannot say enough great things about him or the helicopter ride! It was absolutely breathtaking and made our honeymoon the much more special!

Great experience. We did a sunset tour and from our pick-up from our Vegas hotel right through to our drop off we were nothing but satisfied. The check-in was easy, safety brief efficient yet comprehensive. Our pilot, Hanz, was brilliant, not only flying but telling us all about the history along the flight. Cannot recommend this company enough. Great price and great service.

I spent time looking up the best deal as in pricing & what I wanted out of the experience & this company was it. My friend had done the same tour & highly recommended it.
I enjoyed my tour on 12/10 with Casey. I often travel for work & try to take advantage & book tours/excursions. Since I travel alone sometimes it can be intimidating to do these Grand things solo. The pilot made sure I wasn’t the oddball out & he was truly passionate about his job. The tour itself was amazing. We started off flying over the Hoover Dam & Lake Mead then into the Grand Canyon which we landed & had about half an hour to enjoy a light lunch & champagne (turkey sandwich, apple slices, Pringle chips, cookies). I booked the Grand Celebration tour which was worth every penny. I only wish we could have stayed a little longer at the bottom but it was just enough time. The flight back was not the same route but still informative. We stopped to refuel. Each flight was about 35 minutes. The hotel pick up & drop off was awesome. Nothing additional to pay except pictures. I wish they would have included a picture after the price you’re already paying but all in all great pricing, Tour, & friendly service. I would highly recommend them.
Also I would try to get a window seat or front seat. If you’re in the back middle good luck seeing anything. I sat back left window and on the way there got to see a lot!!! On the way back not so much, & the sun was hitting me. Booked the 11:30am tour.response / report this review -

Best way to see the Grand Canyon if you're time limited. Papillon will pick you up from your Las Vegas hotel to their heliport in Boulder City. Helicopter tour offers a better aerial view of the canyon than plane, plus you get to spend a short while having lunch in the canyon itself (the 30 min flies past and feels like 30 seconds however). Very professional pilots

I have wanted to do a helitour of the grand canyon since I was a child. I was so excited to check this off my bucket list! But once there and $600 later they stuck me in the back middle wedged between my hubby (who is a foot taller than me and out weights me by 70 lbs.) and another couple. It sucked! I couldn't see a thing, couldn't get any pics without other peoples heads in them. Between the reflection of the other passengers on the glass and being surrounded by taller people I saw nothing! Then the pilot went on and on about points of interest along the way-out but he was only showing the ones in the front- not once did he turn the helicopter so that the rest of could seejust kept heading straight toward it until it was under us. This was a terrible trip and a terrible waste of money! There is no way a middle passenger should pay what the front and side ones do. Total rip off. Please see pics too appreciate how bad this really was.

I highly recommend this! I had Pierre and he was really entertaining and informative. The views were great and the canyon was spectacular. The picnic is great and there are great photo opportunities. Sitting in the middle is not the best but that is okay. I hope you have a great time!

It was an awesome ride and Mark was a great guide and very entertaining. Would recommend the trip we took which actually lands inside the Canyon. Only not 5 stars because it can be very warm in the helicopter even with airco and the food on the picnic is quite simple for the price paid other than that, great tour.

Simply put, the aerial views of the Grand Canyon were the highlight of my trip to Las Vegas. The staff were all courteous and our pilot Esther was extremely safe and professional. I would recommend Papillon Helicopters without hesitation to any of my friends or family.

Fantastic.
Breathtaking scenery from a great helicopter.
Main building is very nice, helicopters are great, the tour was reasonable for description, but was very well flown. Lunch at the bottom of the canyon was basic but far better than expected.

Papillon Tours is incredible!! Prompt pick up at almost any Strip hotel in a comfy, clean bus then a leisurely ride down to Boulder City to the terminal. The buses, terminal and helicopters were all very clean and the staff was the definition of friendly, courteous and professional. The helicopter tour is something you'll never forget. The picnic lunch was a turkey sandwich, apple slices, cookies, chips and champagne (with water and soda). The pilots are all funny, knowledgeable and professional. The Grand Canyon is breathtakingly gorgeous, especially landing in the Canyon for a picnic lunch. You will not be disappointed with Papillon! Shout out to NicCole and Tony for taking such amazing care of us!

Many thanks again to Carol from reservations, Guy the driver (what a guy), our pilot Kristina and those on the front desk. They saved our day and gave us a day to remember forever!
Their customer service outshone their competitors Maverick. The sunset tour was incredible and offered magnificent views as far as the eye can see.
