We did the Canyon Rim ride, and had a blast! The horses are obviously well cared for and the staff is wonderful. They did a great job making sure everyone was safe on the ride so that even inexperienced riders were comfortable. I would return in a heartbeat.

Great idea if you want to leave the confines of the strip. Beautiful scenery and gentle horses.
Georgie picked us up and gave us a wonderful history lesson on Vegas and how it evolved into what we see today. Emily was our guide and was very helpful and patient as my wife and I are inexperienced riders. I highly recommend as a nice break from gambling and eating.

Fabulous from start to finish. The ride out was just stunning and the views were amazing. Myself or my husband had never been on a horse before but the horses know exactly what to do and where to go. And the food after, well what can I say apart from superb. Lovely people run this excursion and it's well worth every penny. If we come back to Las Vegas I would definitely do it all again.

Big Jim and his talented team do far more than provide an awesome tour and horse ride--they inspire! They genuinely cared about all of us visiting the ranch. You won't often meet people who so love what they do, and are so passionate about sharing their way of life. No commercial or impersonal assembly-line tours here; just honest people who obviously enjoy sharing authentic experiences with their guests. Riding with them was like coming home. It far exceeded all expectations, and my only regret was that I had to leave at the end of the day! I can't wait to return. HIGHLY recommended!

Great people! My husband got turned around while hiking nearby on the ridges. Jim put together a team of capable folks to go out looking for him. We appreciated their help so much! Going to go out for a trail ride soon!

We had a great time riding with cowboy trail rides. It was surprisingly easy to ride their horses, even for a complete beginner like me. We went on one of the few rainy days in Vegas and still had a wonderful time with the whole family. I highly recommend them.

WOW! what could I say the view was fantastic, horses were great they were strong, obedient, clean. As far as for staff Jim was very helpful in getting to the location and our guides a blonde lady and young man were super sweet and Funny, definitely would go back for another trail ride on canyon rim ride, its extreme!!!

Such a fun experience! My fiancé and I did the canyon rim trail, just over 2 hours. Scenic for sure. Horses were well behaved and easily manageable by inexperienced riders. Assertiveness is helpful, for sure. Great staff, super friendly and relaxed. They had a nice office area, selling hats, drinks, etc. Restroom/porta potty on-site. Great memory!

We rode the trail today and it was a great experience. Everyone was super nice and the horses were well kept. We want to give a special thanks to Sandy our tour guide. She was a great guide as we were first time riders. She made the tour comfortable. We highly recommend this as we want to come back and try a different trail.

Riding the Canyon Rim made my visit to Las Vegas much more enjoyable. The location was stunning. Our guides, Sandy and Ruth, were very pleasant. Georgie was a wealth of knowledge on the history of Las Vegas. I would definitely recommend a visit to Cowboy Trail Rides.

I loved horseback riding here this December!!! I was visiting the area for a conference, and am from the Northeast. This is a great experience to have in the area - 1,000 times better than gambling. I did the 2 hour rim ride and the views of Red Rock Canyon were awesome. My horse was lovely and took on the rocky trail and grade changes like a true pro. The staff were amazing - picking a good horse for me, assisting me with mounting and leading a truly terrific ride. The riding here is a must do!!
