It would be nice if more than two hauls were done a day

River was nice. Riding in the back of a nasty van with stinky dogs sucked. They didn't check the river before sending people down it. Trees across river capsized us. Lots of scrapes and bruises.

Call and get all the details and pricing before you go. We didn't expect the canoe trip would be several hours so we were not prepared . We called the day before and were told we could come out and kayak the following day. When we arrived we were told we couldn't kayak but we could canoe. There were 3 of us and the canoe had seating for two only. We only found this out when we arrived at the starting point. A little late by then. Luckily we had enough water to last us the trip. Sour bottoms all around the canoes are rough. Not sure we were charged accurately either.

    The bathrooms are just awful.
Water barely runs in the shower, mildew in the stalls and shower curtains.
Will I return to another event? Nope.
Advertisement of electricity in the premium camping areas are far and few between. Lucky to get it this time.
Other than that I am relaxing and trying to make the best of it.
God help if it rains while your here. It's a muddy mess.

I have canoed here twice now. The Red River is a great river for canoes. They also offer kayaks, tubes, camping, and special events.

The hospitality was great! The people who worked there was as kind and respectful as they could be. I highly recommend going there for a weekend getaway!

It's everything you want it to. The river needs some love. But it's still a fun ride down. Going with all the rain makes the trip faster with the current. If it's been dry be warned the trip can feel like days.

Place needs an update. PFDs (pernonal flotation device) dirty & aluminum canoes slightly leaky. Red River run is fun with no challenging rapids. Muddy at various times of the year.

Great place to enjoy a relaxing river adventure. Great prices. Bring your own life jackets if you need them cause they require you to use them and will provide some if you need them but theirs are not in the best condition.
