What a great way to get around the island. Fast enough to get there without missing a moment. Price was reasonable and the cart was super easy to operate. Recharging was a snap using the app they provide. Super fun!!

Rented a 2 seater for the day, followed my husband back to campground and noticed the brakes lights were not working. We called and took it back, gave us another one, tested brakes lights before leaving, they weren’t working either! They ended up giving us a 4 seater , same price as 2 seater. Loved the little cars but a little breezy for end of October, also no place to store items if you happen to go shopping, have to carry everything with you. They need to put little trunks in the back for storing items you don’t want to lug around. Would rent again if we come back, but when weather is little warmer.

A really fun experience for the family. If you want to cruise the island, squeeze in some beach or pool time and not have to worry about turning your cars interior into a makeshift beach then these are the perfect creation for you. They are easy to whip around town in, enjoy the scenery, ensure you don't get a speeding ticket, and the rental staff to especially include peaches the dog were super nice.

I flew from florida to Jekyll Island to spend the day over there in November 2015. When we landed we found right at the main entrance on the airport the Red Bug Motors with amazing golf carts for hire. We took one of the cart and drove to the village next to the beach. It was one of the most amazing experience! What a beautiful place, nice small airport and awesome people!! Next time I will fly there and spend a whole weekend in one of the nicest hotels on the Island. Recommend visiting Jekyll Island and take a ride on the cart from Red Bug Motors.

They were incredibly busy but the server was beyond sweet and we didn't mind the wait. I'm always afraid to order small pizzas because some places sell seriously small pizzas and skimp on the toppings, but the ones we got were a decent size and covered in toppings and cheese. They made for the perfect date on the beach. Definitely recommend this place for the quality and price of their food.
