Great company to shop for!!!
I've completed over 13,000 shops for them. They are an amazing company to shop for. Easy to work with and professional.
Nikki Atkins is extremely unprofessional.
This company has horrible management skills and lack communication techniques as well. It's an oxymoron that they give advice to major companies to enhance their business. Their turn over rate is extremely high. I hope companies that work with them actually know what they are getting into.
This is a mystery shopping business here in town that I worked for from 2015 to 2016. I have tried to file a complaint with the BBB and it is still pending resolution. There are a couple of other reviews/complaints you might want to check out on the BBB website.
Tldr review - This company will deactivate your account (fire you) and not tell you, nor give you any reason for why they did so. This company is extremely picky about their reviews and will find any reason to not pay you for a shop. Additionally, if you are a company thinking of hiring this business, please be aware that it is my professional opinion that they appear to be editing shopper reviews to provide a more positive outlook for their clients.
More description:
After doing around 60 shops for this company, I began getting graded off for writing negative reviews. They would let through words like "friendly" but if I wrote "unfriendly" they would write me very terse emails claiming that words like "unfriendly" are too subjective and take off points/give me citations. On one review they graded me down for using the word "monotone" when describing a salesperson's voice - which I think most people would see as a pretty factual statement. When I tried to write a message to management explaining that I work full-time as professional editor and didn't agree with the assertions made by the person editing my reports, and that I also thought this seemed slightly unethical and unfair (as I was trying my best to "be descriptive" and follow all rules set forth) they IMMEDIATELY deactivated my account.
***BUT DID NOT TELL ME THAT THEY DEACTIVATED MY ACCOUNT.***
I spent over a month unaware I was no longer working for this company, but still logging into the website, applying for shops, etc. I even reached out multiple times to employees asking why I wasn't receiving the normal emails/if something was wrong and they told me that everything was fine and I should keep working/applying for shops. It was not until I called the office after hours, and spoke to someone that happened to still be there, that he told me my account had been deactivated on the same day that I sent the email complaining about the contradictory instructions and seemingly unethical behavior.
I have tried to resolve this issue with the business, but the vice president Renee DeSantis is incredibly defensive and seems to not even understand/have read my complaints. I sent one email to her saying that I was told she was the one handling my case, but that she was not in the office, so could she please call me to resolve the issue at her earliest convenience, and the only email I have received from her seems to indicate she thinks that I am angry that she wasn't in the office (and does not address any other concerns). She got incredibly accusatory saying that I was "twisting the facts" (but does not say what facts I am twisting or how I might be wrong?) and that I was deactivated because my "attitude" wasn't in line with company policy. I assure you that every email I wrote to this company was polite, factual, contained no curse words, and was aimed at addressing issues that I naively thought upper management would want to be made aware of.
I am hoping more people find this business and give their reviews, now that I have created a page for them on yelp.
