After getting a bid from a plumber to "snake" our clogged drain, I decided that this is something that my hubby could do if I rented the sewer snake. When I called Bledsoe Rentals, the guy I talked to was really understanding of my lack of plumbing knowledge and helped me secure the appropriate machine. When i got there to pick it up, the nice man behind the counter and another man loaded the equipment into the back of my truck for me. We laughed again about me calling it a "thingy majig" and in a matter of 10 minutes or less I was on my way home.
I was really impressed at how clean and organized the store seemed. I will definitely give them a call the next time i find another Honey-do job for the hubby. Meeting helpful and friendly people PLUS saving $$$ is always nice!response / report this review -

Where do I start. Called ahead and ordered concrete trailer and one yard. They said they would get ready for me. They were not ready had to wait at least 20 min while they loaded and set up machine. Waited patiently even though men on job didn't say a word but later circumstances led me to this. I told them ahead of time it likely would be close to closing time before I returned, they said no problem but he made sure he told me that they leave at 5pm and 5pm sharp. Good enough. I arrived back at 4:45 in the yard and I had water in the trailer and the fella said you can't dump that here. We recommend people go up to the Great Mall construction site and dump there! I should have thought and dumped it at my sight but I was in a hurry and just let the water spin in the barrel to clean it good. They said nothing before about no dumping and that is fine but I gave it no thought, I will know next time. However as I was trying to find a construction site that would allow me to dump the water and get back before 5 I realized this would be tough so I called back and said someone needs to wait for me. He said we leave at 5 and they would not wait!!! Not even 5 minutes!!! Wow! I live 1 hour and 30 minutes away and they cannot wait 5 or even 10 minutes!!! They would rather a customer spend 3 hours driving in the morning to save them 5 or 10 minutes!!! We argued and I stated I am leaving the trailer outside his gate if it was closed and he said I was responsible if something happened. I was livid to say the least. He said they told me there was no dumping and I assure you they did not say that, that was a lie. Maybe they are supposed to say that but they did not! Maybe I should of already assumed that but I did not. I had a place to dump and would have had I been warned. I was on two construction sites before I took it back. I found a site that allowed me to empty and was back at 4:58 two minutes before they closed. THEY HAD ALREADY SHUT THE GATES KNOWING I WAS COMING. DON'T LET ANYONE NO MATTER WHAT GET IN THE WAY OF THEM LEAVING AT 5 PM. WHAT JERKS!!! They opened the gate but I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM ANOTHER DIME! I have rented from the Lees Summit Store without any problems and would have again but their machine was down. I should have used Anderson Rental in Blue Springs and saved $50 but I had to go by a construction site at 110th and Lackman on the return trip so Olathe made more sense even though it cost me more. As you might guess I highly don't recommend the Olathe Bledsoes.

Needed a trailer fast. They had good pricing and fast service. They even let me borrow the trailer adapter as opposed to making me but one. All the staff were a pleasure to work with as well. I Highly recommend for rental equipment

The guys at Bledsoe's are great! I had some equipment problems and they were able to help me fix it so I could get my project done on time. They were also the best price within a 25 mile radius! I will be back when I need more heavy duty equipment for sure.

Olathe location is under new management and it's as good as it has even been. Knowledgeable staff, reasonable rates, no waiting, got me what I needed and back to work quickly. Highly recommended. Joe
