When my husband and I were looking for a house to buy, not only was the market in Hawaii post-Covid already insanely competitive But, on top of it, we had a short deadline to find a place. We were highly concerned that we would not be able to get a house at all. However, Ray worked out his "realtor magic" and surprisingly made it work! Therefore, I have no hesitation in saying that we could only find and buy the house we wanted because of Ray's hard work and competence!
I always refer him to all my friends who are considering buying a property in Hawaii! Ray has been working in the real estate field for over 20+ years, and he has excellent connections with other realtors on the island. These connections help a lot when closing a deal. He managed to get our offer for the house accepted over all the other 15+ offers that were rejected!
Ray also connected us with the best lender on the island (the best deal in comparison with other lenders), Jodie Tanga from Pacific Rim Mortgage. Jodie made it possible to get our mortgage approved, even though other lenders have previously said it would not be possible.
Also, working with Ray and his office staff was very pleasant. He is extremely responsible and professional, always making sure to keep us updated throughout the process. Not to mention he has a fun personality that makes the stress of getting a house way lighter. I even dare say that the house-buying process is exciting thanks to Ray!
For all those reasons and many more, my husband and I had an amazing experience working with Ray Prosek and RE/MAX Aloha Homes in Ewa Beach! I cannot recommend anyone better than Ray to buy or sell a property on the Island!response / report this review -

I waited to be the 100th review because I really cannot say enough great things about the entire team at RE/MAX ALOHA HOMES and especially about the Principal Broker & Owner Ray Prosek!!!
You can do your own research or you can trust my non-biased review because I have nothing to gain from this My hope is that this review will reach as many people as possible because it would have saved me an incredible amount of time and effort.
When my wife & I were buying our first house, a colleague from work recommended working with an agent that he has worked with. The agent was rude, not willing to listen, and seemed to be in rush to introduce me to her husband who was a loan officer. We then moved on to try to work with an acquittance of ours, who has been a RE/MAX agent at the RE/MAX Honolulu office. She never texted or called us back, even though we literally begged her for help.
After extensive research, we finally connected with Ray Prosek. From the first communication, meeting with him, to successfully closing on a deal--he has been that highly experienced professional that you hope to meet and keep forever!! Ray gave us the confidence that you only get from true experts in the industry. Ray patiently answered all of my questions, went above & beyond during the buying process, and gave us incredible advice that ultimately resulted in saving well over $40k on a house purchase!!
More importantly, if it were not for Ray's help, his excellent team, and his invaluable network, we would have not been able to buy the dream house that we love so much. Buying a home as a veteran with VA Home Loans (especially in HI) was extremely challenging and almost killed our deal. Again, thanks to Ray being willing to help, honestly caring about others, and his strong network, our dream house came true! Ray and the entire team at RE/MAX ALOHA HOMES were able to make it happen.
My wife and I will be forever grateful to have worked with Ray Prosek and the team at RE/MAX ALOHA HOMES. We really cannot say enough great things about them!! Feel free to do your own research (like we have done) or just trust the veteran's word that you will not regret working with these guys!!

I chose to become an agent with RE/MAX ALOHAHOMES for its high intensity training and to be surrounded by peers who have the same drive and motivation to help others with their real estate needs. They have a 90 day boot camp for new agents and I highly recommend it. They provide all the tools necessary to succeed and leave it up to you to take your business as far as you want. I was able to meet many people who have a part in the industry and build my circle of resources to help my clients. If you are looking for a brokerage that is upbeat and works as a team, RE/MAX ALOHAHOMES is definitely an option.

Since switching over to RE/MAX Aloha Homes as an agent over a year ago, the amount of training and support I have received from this family is tremendous! It all comes from the top down. Ray pushes us to do our best in everyday life, not just real estate. Our Sales Manager Eric, provides amazing training, and takes us out of our comfort zones in every session. The amount of support from PB, BICs and other agents is so great that it truly makes it feel like family.

Derek Okahashi was my realtor for 3 homes. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a hard-working realtor, the best outcome for your family, and has outstanding work ethic. I also have to give kudos to Jodi from Pacific Rim for her expertise and efficiency. Working with honest, but conscientious people like them are hard to find. I got lucky!! Take my advice and go with them!!
