My boyfriend and I spent a week end here as a bit of an anniversary present. It was so peaceful and enjoyable. The innkeeper are lovely, the food is delicious and the surroundings beautiful.

We were disappointed with our stay here. We decided on a two day stay. The second day we actually left to find something to do and food because it really wasn't worth staying on the grounds. The staff is wonderful and do whatever they can for you. Super friendly. The castle itself is nice. The room was quaint. The food was not good at all. Very little choices at that. We just really feel that if there was attention to the little things it might have been better. We took a hike in the limited trails on the grounds and there were old worn benches, tables etc scattered around the property. There is absolutely no internet or wifi service without driving a distance. There are a LOT of board games if that's your thing but outside of that there is absolutely nothing else to do here. Neat place to visit but if we knew we would have just done that.

I recently visited Ravenwood Castle for a friend's wedding. It is a gorgeous location and they had a good craft beer selection, if in bottles. The venue was fairly small, but it would be perfect to rent out or get rooms with a group.

Amazing experience! We went here for our anniversary and loved it. It's great for board game lovers! Will be visiting again! Loved everything about this place. The Staff was amazing. Great place to get away from the busy city. Peaceful and relaxing!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We stayed in the Duke's Dungeon. I cannot recommend this place enough. It was beautiful, quiet, and we loved the decor. The staff was very friendly as well. The breakfast was great; the frittata was the best I've ever had. We were very pleased with our stay and will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time. The inn keepers and staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great and the atmosphere was friendly. We enjoyed playing the games. We enjoyed King Arthur's room and the quiet relaxing view of the garden from the balcony for our anniversary. Thank you for a great time. Jeff and Anita Laurel, Maryland

We were a bachelor party staying at the Huntsman Hollow for the weekend. Everything was great. The staff was very kind and helpful to anything we needed. Would definitely recommend it to others.

The castle was on absolutely beautiful grounds. The inn-keepers were incredibly kind and accommodating. The castle also offers a free breakfast each morning (extremely good!) And has coffee and tea available almost 24/7.,

Preston, greeted us and checked us in, then gave us a tour of his wonderful castle. The rooms are unique and the pub and library were an added bonus. Ravenwood also has some suites that are not connected to the main castle. Each is its own special themed building arranged to seem like a small village next to the castle. There are hundreds of games to borrow, or books or movies if you would rather.
I enjoyed chatting with Preston in the pub over a cherry mead, and the other staff are very pleasant as well. Breakfast is included and the food is very tasty. I would also recommend trying the evening meal at least once.
We have already decided to return , and will try to do the gaming con or a mystery dinner/weekend. I can highly recommended this amazing place for anyone who wants a unique medieval themed b&b experience, especially if you like board games or RPG style games.response / report this review -

This place is so awesome. I didn't know what to expect, honestly. The staff are so kind and helpful, and the cottages are big and comfortable. I can't believe how affordable they are - you're pretty much renting a one or two bedroom house for the price of a pretty cheap hotel room in most cities. The grounds are beautiful, the beer selection is pretty good, there's a great firepit, and it's remote enough to see the stars. Saw the Milky Way for the first time since I moved to the city almost ten years ago. It's just a really nice atmosphere. I'll be coming back again for sure. Note: there's very little cell reception everywhere but the Baker's cottage. This could be considered a drawback or an asset depending on what you want from your trip. If you want a remote, unplugged getaway at a place with good food, great amenities (kitchenette, jacuzzi tubs, fireplace, porch, etc), you'll be pleased. If you NEED 4G, get the Baker's cottage or hang out near it at the fire pit. T-Mobile gets the best reception here by far.

The castle is charming with the coziness and intimacy of a Bed and Breakfast. The Innkeepers are friendly and welcoming. The bedrooms are quaint, each with a theme. We enjoyed using the gas fireplace in Queen Elizabeth and everything worked fine. If you are a foodie the major drawback is food. You're a bit isolated from restaurants (15-30 min to the nearest restaurant). They did their best to accommodate our group (four families) but selection was limited. Overall we enjoyed our mini family vacation and visiting the beautiful Hocking Hills area but found the food to be severely lacking and overpriced for the catered dinner they offered on Saturday evening. With a toddler, waiting until 8:30 for breakfast to be served was also a bit of a challenge. But the various rooms to gather as a large family and play games and chat was wonderful.
