The building is old and in need of much repair. The building is kept very chilly and the in room space heater is weak. No hot water.

The room was otherwise clean and sufficiently. equipt. Microwave and fridge handy. Budget bedding as expected. Single cup coffee maker. Hotel seemed pretty empty. Very quiet.

The breakfast was what we expected for a hot breakfast. Very convenient.

Staff was exceptional: very kind and friendly, quick to help. Front desk guy provided a nice quilted comforter when we asked for additional blanket. Breakfast attendant was pleasantly chatty and accomodated a special request. Front desk lady upon check out smiled often. Gentleman cleaning floors was patient and kind.

The price was right. Our family was looking for simple no fuss place to sleep while visiting from out of town. We sought other accommodations mostly because it was too chilly, no hot water. We are not mad, it just wasnt for us. Great staff there.

Had to stop here when we got caught in a snow storm on the Ohio
Turnpike. There's no other way to say it. This place is straight up gross. In addition, the outside doors have the key swipe, but they never lock. So anyone could come in from the outside at any time. We would have been better off, pulling over and sleeping in the car.

If you love yourself do not even step foot into this condemned wasteland. This place should be shut down. We needed to stop because of how tired we were and this place was super cheap. We should have checked the reviews before checking in. First things first there are creepy people lurking around. Also the glass door had cracks in it. The hallways smells like people had been chsinamoking in it. The bathrooms were completely filthy. Our room smelt as if someone was burning rubber in there and found out it was coming from the radiator. The locks were broken. There were gross stains on the blankets and the floor were so dirty that it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed since 1993. After reading the reviews and reading up on all of the same issues we had plus bed bugs and fleas we packed up and hit the road. He had not even been there an hour. I don't want to start my vacation by getting swine flu. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The Hampton next door is pricey, but probably a lot better than dying by whatever sickness would have come from staying at this Days Inn. The only good thing that the employees were nice people. The guy gave us a refund. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. It's not worth the money no matter how cheap it is.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. Checked in gentleman at the front desk was very nice.
As I parked and went to grab my stuff I noticed there were two or three people outside the main entrance to the part of the building I had to go in to get to my room all smoking cigarettes before I had a chance to get to the door they went inside and two more people came outside to smoke cigarettes. It’s not the way I want to enter a hotel. Cigarette smoke and smell got worse when you enter the building because the people were standing in front of the door. There were cigarette butts everywhere inside the hotel in the elevator in the hallways that everything smelled of smoke my room is on the second floor which is supposedly a non-smoking floor. It reeks of smoke the phone with stained yellow from nicotine. It was absolutely disgusting there was smoke you can see in the hallways.
If you care about your health, don’t stay in this hotel. The residual secondhand smoke nicotine in the air chemicals who knows what this hotel should be condemned.
The pictures on certain booking websites are false and miss leading. They are stock photos and definitely NOT THIS HOTEL.

Clean room, although the rooms could use updated and remodeled. I did find ciggarette ashes by the bed, even though it was supposed to be a non smoking room. And there were shade people hanging around. In the morning a couple of nice gentlemen had to politely escort a homeless man from the hallway where he had been sleeping.

I always stop in Elyria at the Days Inn when traveling through Cleveland. It's cheap, - $54.95 for a single king bed. While the maintenance is going on in the larger part of the building, and its obvious there is major maintenance, every room I've ever had was clean, and comfortable. All the amenities I need are there. They even give hair conditioner, and I've noticed a lot of hotels don't even give that anymore. The price of the room is more than reasonable. The man at the front desk is efficient and helpful. The breakfast is fine for getting on the road. It's not the Waldorf, but they have a nice selection of breakfast foods. Coffee is good. I have no complaints. Air conditioner works great. Employees are polite, respond immediately to any questions or needs. I wasn't sure how to turn the air conditioning down. I wouldn't be anywhere else. There's also a gym and an indoor pool, as well as a video room. Wifi is available. I never use those things, because I've usually driven a long ways prior to getting there. They have plenty of availability. The number is in my phone for every time I drive through Cleveland. It's not far outside of Cleveland, easy access from the highway. .

They are renovating and there were issues with the room. Some of the plugs didn't work right and there were construction dumpsters in the parking lot. However, they were very good in accommodating my service dog.

The room which was nicely decorated by family members for our wedding night was small and the carpet looked dirty. The air conditioning system did seem to work properly it continued to shut off no matter what the temperature it was set on. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. There were a lot of people being very loud very early in the morning in the halls. And the pool was disgusting.

This was absolutely the worst Place I have ever stayed in. We were so tired from driving we stayed here. The pool was out of order, the elevator was stuck, had to use the stairs but they didn't go into the hotel. I had to go outside and come back in through the lobby. The TV didn't work. They were going to move us to another room but the next room smelled so bad we couldn't handle it. Got up the next morning to take a shower and there was no hot water. There were questionable looking people hanging out in the parking lot. Asked to speak to the manager the next morning. Waited about 15 minutes but he never appeared so the desk girl offered to give us the room for half price. It wasn't even worth that.. Very displeased..

Me and my daughter checked in. The Manager checked us in and was very nice and helpful. The room was very nice, clean, big and very comfortable. New mattresses and pillows. The free breakfast bar was nice. Sausage, eggs waffles, 4 cereals, danishes, muffins and fresh fruit. The next morning we decided to stay anither night and the front desk lady Michelle, was very nice and helpful on letting us keep our room. I would recommend staying here. Nice pool. Nice place to stay.
