Ramada is a very nice medium class hotel. This Xenia location is a very clean place to stay. I like the hand lotion at Ramada, lol, of all the hotels I've stayed at, seems Ramada has the best. And of coarse, the accommodations are high quality with beds that are exceedingly comfortable.

One of the best things about the hotel: it was easy to find. Unfortunately, that was the only good thing about it. We had reserved a non-smoking room and when we got there we're in a smoking room. After they switch us into a non-smoking room, we realize that the tv and phone don't work. After they switch us into another room, everything seems finebut wait! In the morning when we tried to take showers (surprise!)but the shower didn't work. When we checked out, the desk clerk, instead of telling us that he couldn't adjust the bill, made us wait while he went upstairs to see if the water worked. And, of course, when he tried it the water simply gushed out. Now we are waiting for the manager to call on Monday.

I booked a block of rooms for family and friends for my wedding in September. Promises were made by the manager and were not fulfilled. First, my parents room had heat/air issues and no bathroom light. They moved to another room and the next day they put my brother in that same broke down room. The hotel bar is open to the public so my brothers room was 2 floors above the bar and he was kept up all night long as people were there partying well past midnight and management would do nothing about it. He moved to another room the next day. Horrible service. Poorly run hotel.. I am glad Xenia is getting a new hotel in the next couple months. I will never recommend this hotel again to friends, family or business colleagues. Embarrassing.

I was quite pleased with the Ramada Xenia. The young lady at the desk was friendly and courteous and quite helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable.

The room was suitable; beds were clean and comfortable; many outlets and the fridge didn't work. That wasn't a major problem for us, but we had a hard time finding a place to plug our phones in to charge. This hotel would have gotten three stars, but when we went down for the continental breakfast; everything but cereal and a few bagels were left. The hot offerings had been put away early. We arrived about thirty minutes before the end of the advertised breakfast window. The hotel worker was apologetic and made a few plates of eggs, which was not but I still felt like we weren't given the whole story. The weekday breakfast window ends at 9:30 and she claimed that she forgot what day it was. That would make sense except that everything was gone and it was just 9:30.

Great location to reach several rail trails. Inside building you can see its age. Breakfasts were modest attempt to be up to date. Facility needs upgrade to meet Ramada quality.

Horrible smell as soon as you enter the lobby as the restaurant is right there. Very outdated. Needs an update. Restaurant very dark. The complimentary breakfast would be better if they served it some other place. Everything looks dirty.

The rooms are older, and some have water damage on the walls and ceilings. The rooms themselves are kept pretty tidy. Staff was very kind and polite. I enjoyed my stay.

I'm here with my sister, her service dog and her autistic sonthis is the first bad review I have ever written.
When my sister made the reservation she specifically stated her reason for being here and that her son and her sons service dog was with her. The owner Rajesh Agrawala spoke directly to my sister on the phone. He had no problem with the dog or the situation.

We got to the hotel and a huge party was being held - we didn't think too much of this since they said at the front desk we were on the quiet side. When we got in the room, one room was ok the other room was not
Toilet won't flush
Bathroom door doesn't lock
Tub barely drains
Fan doesn't work
Top of ceiling in bathroom looks like it could be mold

The party was so loud and major RAPing was going on in the the parking lot until 3am

We found out this happens every year and it was expected - if this is the case why didn't the owner tell us there was a special party before we booked the hotel? Especially knowing we had a special needs child and service dog with us
Also when we took the dog out the next morning and still this evening there are
Beer bottles and broken glass outside in the pet area and around the parking lot
I've stayed at Ramadas before but I will never stay at this one again
P.S. while we were at the front desk complaining a couple said there was a bug in their room, they switched rooms and then they had stained sheets yuck!!!

The carpeting in the hallway is filthy! The walls are filthy. The whole place is filthy. In case you want a drink, their lounge is closed and has been for 6 months! The fitness room has 2 treadmills and 1 bikenone work! The girl at the desk could not possibly care less.
Hope you can find an outlet in your room that works.

Let's start with the lady at the front desk. I don't think I have met someone as rude. She was of Indian dissent(only saying as to identify who it was). She argued with me about my company paying for my room. After her talking on my phone with my company travel agent she fixed the issue and finally allowed me to check in.

Walking into the room I immediately took note of the outdated decor and furniture. Then I started to get settled in.
After washing my hands the sink took 5 min to drain.
The knob was broken and had severe limescale along with the shower head.
There was hair stuck to hairdryer.
Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom.
And what looks like burnt mold in the coffee maker.
Then I realized how unsafe the room was. If you have kids, do not stat here. I was on the 3rd floor and the window would open. (Against ohio law to open all the way). Not only that but it would not lock. You can push it closed but all it would take is a person pushing it open from the outside. Also against the law in ohio.

I will not be staying here ever again and I suggest you stay clear as well.

UPDATE: The elevator operation certificates also are expired.
