My 10 year old son loved this place. Well worth the $5/person admission.

For the modest $5.00 admission to the Ralph Stanley Museum and Traditional Mountain Music Center in Clintwood, VA, visitors receive a day pass to a self-guided audio tour of two professionally curated floors of Appalachian musical history. Downstairs, museum patrons can sit in a replica Old Regular Baptist church pew between a television playing clips from Dr. Stanley's classic WCYB radio shows and a glass case full of awards and memorabilia from O Brother, Where Art Thou? The top floor of the museum features a collection of Dr. Stanley's wardrobe, awards, instruments, and other musical artifacts that will remind future generations of his many contributions to bluegrass, to the music industry, and to his Appalachian home. If you're planning to a trip along The Crooked Road, add the Ralph Stanley Museum to your list of destinations.
