Nice, quiet and beautiful. This place is one of my favorite national parks. I only wish I lived closer.

RV camping for weekend. Park campground hosts Ted & Cristal Silcox were the most helpful and friendly we have ever met. Lots of activities here. Many trails, ziplines, restaurant, horseback riding, beautiful views. Hardly any campers this weekend, so we really enjoyed the company of the friendly hosts!

The Breaks is one of my favorite places in this country to visit, camp, and experience incredible hikes! They recently added zip lines that look pretty impressive. Our camp host, Teddy, was beyond hospitable and made our experience all the better. I will go back to the breaks time and time again!

Beautiful spot with all kinds of hiking, easy to fairly rugged. Try the Prospector Trail or Geologic Trail for some amazing perspectives. We stayed in the lodge and the room was good. Restaurant is not open year round.

We visit this park very often, it has a very good restaurant, horse back riding, paddle boats, pools, a few times a year the have local bluegrass music, we hold our family reunion there every year, and recently had our church service/picnic there, only $2.00 A car to get in, they have multiple hiking trails. Located half on Kentucky half on Virginia side at over 11000 feet it offers several overlooks with breathtaking views.

It is simply fantastic. An extremely helpful staff and a great place to relax. The views at the many overlooks are breathtaking and the scenery is just fabulous. I also highly recommend the zip line tours also because they give you a view of the river and gorge that is out of this world.

This is a wonderful place for a family vacation. The cabins are very comfortable, and the hiking is wonderful. We really loved the trails especially the geological trail. Both my 6 yr old and 16 yr old were able to hike the the ridge trail, geological trail, lake trail, and others. The only disappointing thing was the fishing.

Great place if you enjoy nature. Plenty to do for adults and children. Only problem was the firewood they sold was green. Took 2 bottles of lighter fluid to get it burning.

Great place to visit and see wildlife. Great food, and a friendly staff. Awesome views too, just need to upgrade the picnic tables and outdoor grills. Also has a kiddie pool, paddle boat rides, horse stables, trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding.

This is truly a awesome place to stay and visit. The Grand Canyon of the South is all that and more, the views are something to be shared. The restaurant is top notch, with great food and beverage options. Great view from the restaurant deck. This is nature so there will be wildlife.

A unique and wonderful jewel in Southwest Virginia/Eastern Kentucky. Enjoy the many overlooks and hiking trails and visit during the Fall season for the leaves and Winter views of the snow covered canyon.

This park has beautiful views, a not bad restaurant and an awesome pool. We spent our weekend by doing Friday dinner at the Rhododendron, camping Friday night in the campground, breakfast Saturday on an open fire, hiking most of the day and finishing up at the pool. Things didn't go perfectly at the campground. The firewood they sell at the camp store wasn't adequately seasoned and was devilishly hard to get burning and the bathrooms weren't as clean as they could have been.
