Granted I was a last minute check in with no reservation. That staff was overly friendly and made sure I was more than comfortable for my stay. Granted there were a couple things that needed repair in my room. It was a great stay.

Rooms was very clean. Workers was nice and helpful. We had forgotten some toiletries and they had just what we needed. The location was in a nice place, but the entrance to it was horrible. Beds wasn't as comfortable as they could have been with all the renovations. Over all very pleased with our stay.

I'm in Pikeville, KY and staying here after my son's surgery today. Since he's a student at UPike and we're from GA, I'm spending a few days at Holiday Inn taking care of him. This is a bit difficult since we don't have the comforts of home. Everyone on staff here has gone out of their way to help me. From making sure my keys work to help with the washing machine to giving me chips, cookies, and water bottles. It's so nice to know that the staff is so willing to help and every time I pass Ron he asks how my son is. Exceptional customer service!

Great staff! They helped me so much. I am disabled and in the midst of moving but had to wait for my husband to be well enough to get out of the hospital. They were all so kind and helpful with absolutely everything.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was more than helpful. Everyone was friendly and courteous. The breakfast was exactly what you expect from a Holiday Inn Express.

The employees were nice but the man at the desk was unprofessional.
To start with they over charged us to what the person said when taking our card number over the phone.
Our room smelled old but looked clean except for at the end of the bed.
There was no where to hang our clothes
NO cell phone hook ups
NO safe in the room
They said they had movie channels but we went through every channel no HBO or any other movie channel.
We paid for 2 nights but I'm not sure if we'll stay the second night.
This room is not worth what they charge by any means.

Great place to stay! Very friendly staff!! Rooms were very clean and cold! Beds were great. Definitely recommend!

The Hotel is nice but under construction. Had requested connecting rooms when I made the reservations 2 months ago. we were told they don't have connecting rooms. So you would think the rooms would at least be beside each other, not 10 room away.

Stayed for one night. Hotel was under renovation, which is a good thing I suppose
Except there was zero parking. The receptionist was very friendly, as to be expected if you know anything about the people of this area. And the rooms, I will admit were very clean. We of course inspected the sheets upon arrival and were good to go
But the downfall is that this place is noisy!!!
And for multiple reasons. 1. You're sitting right next to a major highway. 2. The walls and floors are thin. Having a 2 year old we always try to be mindful of other people, especially when getting ready in the morning. Just my 2 year old running around in the room caused the floor to vibrate like a dinosaur was on the loose. This was also a cause all night from the guests above us. .
Nice people.
Clean rooms.
But overall I probably wouldn't stay again.
Hilton down the street was 20 dollars more per night.
My gut told me to go there to begin with

Great place to stay. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff. We had a late night spill in our bed called the front desk and were told she would personally bring us new bedding. With in minutes we had fresh bedding. Will stay again!

The rooms were nicely kept and cleaned with very great attention to detail like the hospital bed corners. Also I enjoyed the pool very much. I would love to come back another time.

Stayed here for three nights and were very satisfied. The hotel is in the process of renovation but it was not an issue. Our room was clean and updated. The breakfast was very good and the people were very friendly and helpful. The only problem was the wi-fi was too slow to use sometimes. I would stay there again.

Not nearly as well maintained as Hampton and Hilton .Internet signal is WEAK in rooms at ends of the halls. Squashed TWO stink bugs while here for 4 days and saw a 3rd crawling outside my window. Like another reviewer stated..this hotel adds a LOT of taxes to the rate. Also last but not least the rate that I booked this hotel at online was ONLY honored one day of my 4 day stay..the other three were $15 more a night. Hope they enjoy the money because this is the last that this location will get from my company, $500 a year..wave bye bye Holiday inn Express

Maybe it's just me but it be nice if they mention the almost 20 dollars in taxes they add on after you already signed for a different amount. I would have still stayed here but just a heads up about stuff would be nice. It's also hard to track down staff during the late hours if you need something.
