Beware of your card details. My card was taken out of my hands without consent and information copied from it. Need to monitor the card in case they got the CVV number. I was not able to purchase without giving detailed personal information or use cash. Although this is a very well known brand you cant trust their staff so stay away from this place. There are plenty of other shops in the neighbourhood with more polite staff and equally good merchandise.
Great store!
I managed to buy limited edition Military Polo through phone whilst calling from St Andrews, Scotland, UK.
I am especially grateful to Tia & Molly for assisting me!

Good looking store, almost museumesque. I wasnt sure if i was allowed to touch the merchandise. But beware if you don't fit the Madison Avenue crowd stereotype don't bother looking for help. The customer service reps seemed a little stuck up.
A good way to see the inside of an old NYC mansion. Also the clothes are nice.
I painted their stores across America. Am partial to this corporation
Staff there is super helpful and friendly. Never have I ever entered a retail store and wanted to spend all my money and tip the sales people. They are amazing here, I can not stress how amazing the employees are.
Luxury is the care of the particulars and the choice of the shopkeeper I met a really incredible vendor offering me a coffee that I didn't accepted and showing me a fantastic linen shirt that I'm continuing to desire!
Amazing townhouse. Beautifully merchandised. If you are in the market for Ralph Lauren, this is Mecca. All lines represented.
If you're looking for the best suits in New York City then you have come to the right place! Be sure to ask for Michael Selter and Andrew Nierenberg.

I go here when I'm looking for rare stuff or gifts for women. Since like someone else stated you really can't find bigger sizes here.
I wear polo 1xb but some xxl stuff can fit me. The good thing is you can show the staff stuff from the online store. They will call and find it for you that was amazing. Got me a polo i was looking for on top of that the lady told me check retaillmenot for a coupon before i go. She was right saved me even more money.
I always enjoy coming to this store they also can tell when your wearing polo products and compliment your look. Or suggest things to go with the outfit you already built. The look and feel of class is on display here. Soak it in people
Don't go here if you want BIGGER or PLUS Sizes. They don't seem to carry these. The reason I came to this store is that I was under the impression that they carried all sizes and styles. Then when I got there, they put me under the impression that they don't do bigger than size 42 waist, which fit me well in two different pairs of POLO shorts that I was wearing in the store. So the 42's they gave me there, were definitely not the same size as they are for their shorts of which I have two styles of the Polo Ralph Lauren brand (bought on AMAZON! of all places). I have a feeling their pants at this point are running small, perhaps alienating their customers, which I felt like it did.
--- So go to a department store, and save money and even find the sizes and styles you want. That same evening I went to Marshall's and found an amazing dress shirt with my size, and it only cost me a fraction of the cost. I also found the "plus" sizes in Marshalls, with POLO pants in 46 48 and even 50! Why a flagship gives these sizes to a discount store instead of carrying seems to be a complete abandonment of their customers.
The building is incredibly cool. It's amazing that it used to be someone's home. However, that's where the positives end. It's incredibly clear that the employees are working on a quota system and building a book of clients. They are incredibly quick to "help" but it seems like they just want to beat their coworkers to the new meat that walks through the door. I expect suits and made to measure are different than ready to wear (which has a limited selection actually) but there is no real need to shop here. Go to a department store.
My personal experience at this Ralph Lauren store has always been an extremely satisfying one. While all of their sales professionals have been so helpful, my piece of advice would be to find an experienced one. On the other hand, the tailors and fitters have always rendered alterations that are simply perfect from A to Z: aesthetically and technically.
