My experience was fine with no issues. Helpful staff, great environment, no issues with food; no reason to rate any less than 5 stars. Came here for a family birthday celebration and it was a good time. They do sing their fun form of Happy Birthday and do get the celebrant involved. Yes it is pricey and food may not be spectacular but you come for the occasion and environment and you realize it all actually was as good as it needed to be to make it worth your while.

Expensive horrible food. $17.99 for a shrimp Caesar salad is fine if the portion matches the price. My salad had no taste, it was the size you pay for a $8 salad max. I don’t mind paying for expensive food if the quality is there. We’ve been to this restaurant all over USA and always been happy until San Antonio. We will not return and this location was nearly empty which was shocking until we left then understood why nobody is eating there. Never again and sadly we can’t redo our sons birthday so this was not a happy birthday for this family.

Everything about our visit was fantastic. Food was delicious and generously portioned, drinks were great, and the table service (Tony?) was super friendly and attentive. I've been to other locations in the past and the food was just ok, not really justifying the price. Everything this time though was on a whole different level. Really looking forward to bringing my one year-old back, she had a blast.

If you don't want to wait make reservations we made reservations for 9 pm on a Friday night got there at 8:45 and got seated by 8:50 we waited about 10 min for the waiter to come and get our drinks which was understandable he had two other big tables. Will was very polite and knew his stuff he was even nice enough to take a couple of pictures of me and my girlfriend. The food was a bit pricy but the draft beer and mixed drinks we ordered were fair. The food was good and had good flavor definitely a great experience do not come here if your super hungry and ready for a fast meal. There is plenty to enjoy while you wait on food and drinks. Overall a great first experience for me and will definitely be coming back. Thank you again Will for such great service

My kids loved it, they had a blast! Only down fall was it took a very long time to get anything. 30 min to get drinks (45 for the kids drinks) and about an hour to get our food. The food was good though.

I love it here. I think you pay for the atmosphere and the food is not bad either. A bit Pricey but what is not expensive on the river. Customer service was fantastic. Gluten free options available.

Amazing place to eat and visit. I had overall a great experience. We were a group of 6 friends and the waiter took very good care of us. We didn’t have a reservation but still we were quickly seated. The waiter asked us if we wanted separate checks or a single one, we chose separate, which is convenient when you go with friends.

Food was really good and tasty, plenty of food on each plate, you could share if you want. Kids are going to love the animals. Pandas, tigers, snakes etc. And they all move. A fun experience you don’t want to miss.

Great atmosphere and fun for children. However, the wait time can be up wards of over an hour and a half. I suggest making reservations beforehand. The food is decent but highly overpriced for what it is. Not a restaurant I would visit often unless to celebrate an occasion. Definitely for tourists.

Really nice place but I got to tell you what happened. The last time we were there we got a table got and had our food and was eating when someone on the staff walked by and offered to take our picture and so we decided to go to a landing on the stairway to take our picture. It's the kind you pay for later and you may get a frame or something really pretty. I could see our table up the stairway a little bit and I looked up and noticed the staff cleaning off our table. I was devastated. We got back up to the table and it was completely cleaned off they were so fast. We waited there for a while but nothing on our table wondering when our waiter was going to come by. The waiter did come but with another customer to set at the table. When we explain to him the waiter what he apologized and we got our food again. The Rainforest Cafe would have been deserving of five or more stars if that not happened. It's a beautiful place.

On a Wednesday night, it wasn't too crowded. And yes, this is a tourist restaurant. I ordered the flat iron steak with coconut shrimp, mashed potatoes, and fries. I ashed that my steak be cooked medium well and it was served a warm medium. I wished it was cooked just a little longer. The waiter, Elliot, was super friendly. I would eat here again.

Pretty fun place to eat. It was a neat environment and the staff was friendly. It took them longer than usually to bring out drinks, appetizer, and then food. Especially on a night that was not that busy. The food was pretty good, but both mine and my buddy's steak were pretty well undercooked. I think it's still worth checking out.

Food was good but pricey! Beware of the touristy things like light up cups for $15.00. You're definitely buying the atmosphere of animals and light effects. Service was decent. Lava cake was huge and very good to share with about 4 people. Good place to cool off on summer days and take the children to.

As a Landry select member I am hard on there restaurants. This one is unique with the three levels. And if I am not mistaken its the only one with Pandas. The service we received was awesome and the food arrived quickly and prepared correctly. If you haven't tried this place you should.
