If you are in the market for an RV, these are the folks to see. They are a class act and everyone works hard to meet your needs. I have to say a special thank you to Mr. Don, my salesman and Mrs. Nan in finance. Also thank you to Mr. Jeff, who gave me a thorough checkout on operating my new trailer. I bought a 29-foot bunkhouse travel trailer, perfect for my family’s needs. Thank you RVConnections!
I would like to followup on our recent purchase of our 2017 Tiffin Allegro Open Road Red. The experience that we had was truly remarkable. As a first time RV buyer we were somewhat reluctant and as you might expect we had a myriad of questions. Scott was our salesperson and we could not have chosen a more knowledgeable or caring individual. His level of expertise was reassuring and he was very patient with out questions. Once we selected our unit, your administrative staff handled the paperwork in a very efficient manner. The orientation was smooth and covered all of our questions and concerns. Liz was our assigned advisor. Her care during our two day stay was thorough and handled on a very personal basis. When we were required to be away from the dealership, she even ensured our pet was cared for properly. Our experience with each of your service staff was professional, courteous and most importantly very friendly. After returning home, followup calls from your staff ensured not only that we had not experienced any trouble but reinforced your dealerships commitment to continued service and support. Neil, your philosophy of personal relationships and continued support was demonstrated by each and every employee we encountered. Well done! We are delighted to be a member of the RV Connection family and look forward to years of RV'ing especially knowing we are part of your family!
UPDATE 09/13/17: After posting the initial review, I was contacted the next day by both the rep, Louis, and the service manager, Andrew. Louis called first thing that morning and gave me the option of replacing my jack immediately with one in stock or ordering the manufacturer's jack and waiting on it to arrive. I chose to go with the one in stock after being assured that it was exactly the same in every way, save the looks. That same afternoon, I received a call from Andrew. He asked me what all had transpired, I brought him up to speed and explained that it was the lack of communication that was the biggest issue. He sincerely apologized for the way it had been handled, and he promised to make it right. Louis called me about 20 minutes later and said it was ready for pickup. I've used RV Connections in the past with no issues at all, and this seemed to be an exception to their standard service. They worked hard to rectify the situation once it was brought to their attention, and I'm 100% satisfied with the way it was handled after the initial review. I will continue to have my service work done here, and Andrew was a pleasure to work with through this situation.
I'm currently leaving a one star review, but I will revisit the review once this ordeal has come to a completion. I took my camper in on 08/24/17 because the tongue jack stopped working. The unit is only 3 months old, so it is obviously a warranty issue. I haven't received a single call from them regarding the status of the repair. I called to get an update on 08/28, 08/30, and 09/05 (today), and spoke with Louis, who is the rep "handling" this claim. The first two times I called, he said he had no update. Today, he said that he submitted the warranty claim to his "warranty girl" on 08/30, but there's been no update in his system. He said that she's off today, so there's nothing he can do until they hear back from Forrest River. I asked if there was a number that we could call at Forrest River to help speed up the process. He gave me a phone number to call so I could do his job for him. There's a hurricane headed our way, and this is our means of evacuation.
RV Connections is locally owned and operated, and they strive to earn and keep their customer's business. The sales and finance teams are welcoming and go above and beyond to help you find the RV that meets your needs AND satisfies your wants. The service department is top notch with a team of vetted and veteran technicians that will keep your RV performing at it's best. Problems, accidents, and malfunctions happen, but they don't persist at RV Connections. The service advisors are courteous, and efficient at getting a diagnosis and plan of resolution. You won't find a dealership that will work harder for you in any and all aspects of owning and maintaining a RV. Highly recommend that if you are in the market, need repairs, or general maintenance; stop by, you will not have a regret.
My whole experience purchasing this camper from RV connections has been one of the best I have ever had when making a major purchase like this. The minute I walked in Gary talked to me about what I wanted and showed me exactly that. He did not pressure me or try to show me campers that were out of my range. Even from parts and service department have been incredible. I'm to come in and ask questions and they have answered them even when they were stupid questions. You have definitely won me over as a returning customer.
Don't have anyone in the market for an RV @ the present moment but I'll tell all I meet about RV Connections and to be honest, my salesperson. Your company has a true asset w/ Shaun Baker. He is the utmost reason we returned to complete our purchase. He was VERY knowledgeable as well as putting the customer and their needs first.
Starting with Neil and Scott our buying experience with RV Connections has been a positive experience. Gary and the review department were prompt to introduce and affect their review right away. The front desk lady was extremely friendly and extremely knowledgeable and trusted our sales with all the information and get into with the perfect documentation. To all the staff, thank you for such a positive experience.
This past weekend I went to pick up our RV that had been in for some repairs. I had been dealing with Liz Mahnich by phone about this. When I got to the dealership she was very helpful. She and I installed our new Blue OX, replaced the ends and had it ready to go when I got ready to hook up on Sunday. I left some tolls with her by accident and she called me and we arranged to meet on Sunday to get tools. Not only did she get me the tools, she helped me connect my Jeep to the Blue OX. In the process she noticed that my back spoiler was loose. She went in the store bought screws and climbed my latter and tightened it up so we could safely make it home. WE were missing 8 screws! I am so grateful for LIz, she went above and beyond her job both days to ensure we had a great weekend and arrived home safely. Thank you LIZ! You have a friend for life! I have a picture I wanted to send to Liz on the RV.
Overall at excellent experience at your dealership. Beautiful facility, friendly staff, organized delivery procedure, although we could have used a longer delivery orientation (Back to back scheduling) Gary Taylor did an excellent job. Awaiting follow-up delivery on a part(driver side camera).
We have been very pleased with our purchase. The delivery walk thru was very thorough and helpful. You guys caught a broken item we didn't see. The was some confusion on my part between what we owe to parts and service. I thought both were the same, all your people were very helpful
Took motor home there for an a/c issue. Three nights in a hotel, 65.00 in fuel and 300.00 in diagnosis later they say it must be the site. My site has 50 amps and my coach has a power management system with power monitoring. Guess what there is plenty of power at the site and my a/c still runs for a minute and shuts off and then back on in 5 minutes. NOT THE SITE
Called a mobile RV repair company and they determined in a about 30 minutes that both A/C units need to be replaced. I never realized that a mobile repairman would offer the best repair solution.
