Nice place to stay. The staff was great. They had 2 different restaurants in hotel. The sit down dining restaurant's waiter even offered to get is a menu from the fast food diner styled restaurant.

Much nicer rooms than the Super 8 we stayed at just up the road the night before. It was great to have an attached restaurant. Downsides: Few convenient power outlets that are not already being used by in room stuff. Also the only snacks available are down on the first floor next to the check-in desk.

It's a well kept hotel, I would stay there again. I was traveling for business and wanted something close to work and had a good value, RIT met both. The bed, bathroom, and room were clean and fresh smelling. My room was far away from the elevator and on the top floor, so noise was not a large concern. The staff was pleasant and helpful. If you book through Expedia you'll see breakfast is offered, but it is not included in the room fee, and is table service; I generally prefer buffet while working but the service was prompt. Breakfast begins at 0630 which is a plus.

Rooms smelled terrible. I sprayed and cleaned myself. Rooms are outdated but if cleaned they would be fine! Around 11pm there was a weird guy trying to get into the hotel acting funny.. then we heard someone at our window🤤 When mentioned to guest services they said "we told him to go back to his room twice he is an extended stay guest must have been drinking." Well he scared us to never come back there that's for sure! We were up all night!! There is multiple people that come to this hotel room because there loved one is sick and the last think u want is some guy freaking people out noone apologized!! Will not stay again!

I liked the place. It is an old beautiful building with a ton of potential, and they are working on it. The staff was great, very amicable and courteous. It has 2 pools, a little gym, and a restaurant that is not overpriced. They have a shuttle that will take you places for free, at last to the hospital and other medical facilities! They do need to do a carpet deep cleaning in room 108 as the carpet smells. The beds are quite comfortable. I will come back.

It's a very clean, mostly updated, and welcoming place. RIT inn has been housing a number of first year RIT students, who are mainly international or NTID related. From my own experience, the students are respectful and courteous, and are housed in the same portion of the hotel. There are two pools, indoor (very small) and outdoor (open memorial day - labor day), hot tub, dry sauna, gym, business center, restaurant, a number of ballrooms, and a shuttle service for any other needs. Pretty much everything at the inn, including the pools, is handicap accessible. The staff tends to split into two categories: 1) amazing, and 2) not-so-amazing. The first category applies to most of the maintenance and "floor" employees. The second one is generally the management. Some areas have recently been renovated, creating a more comfortable stay, but others are quite outdated, although well-concealed.

Dirty dirty dirty! Other people's trash and dirty laundry under the beds when we arrived. Fridge request ignored, no call back when I asked someone to look into it. Smelled like marijuana the entire time, and one night emergency evacuation at 4am thanks to the smoking idiots. Carpet in halls smells wet and disgusting. Noting clean about the place. How anyone has left this place more than 3 stars is a mystery. Construction is everywhere and very inconvenient. It might have literally been a mile walk to the lobby from the room, my husband gave up and came back after 10 minutes because it was too far. When I finally found it to use the microwave it was unbelievable.

Facility is good as were my interactive with staff. The rooms are ok, they're out dated and slightly musty, but functional. The beds were comfortable enough, we bring our own pillows. AC worked great and was quiet enough to be left in overnight.
As with all hotel bathrooms leave the door open when you shower, since they have zero air circulation. I'm sure the tub filler will fall off soon as a previous reviewer already posted.
They do have a free shuttle and I'm leaving my car there a few days. This is a huge plus and would be worthy of a star.
If you only sleep in the room it's great. If you want to spend hours in your room, spend more money elsewhere.response / report this review -

We attended a professional conference which included breakfast and lunch catered by the hotel. The space was well maintained and the food looked good - I didn't eat any. Good acoustics and tech available for the seminars, though the room that lunch was served in was quite noisy once it filled up - made talking with my fellow attendees difficult. Maybe better acoustic paneling? . Overall was pleased by the quality of the venue. Nothing special but nothing to complain about either.

Location was a breeze to access. The rooms used for the seminars were in close proximity and had comfortable seating and good audio visual . There were many families there but never felt crowded. One large room was used for the majority of the vendors, doctors and other salespeople. One room was used for snacks and drinks either free or reasonably priced. I go to this conference center for Technology meetings as well and other am always satisfied with the service, bathrooms and everything!

Nice, clean hotel. Well priced. Workers were friendly and helpful. It is close to RIT and downtown Rochester so there are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby.

The location is right on the main road where all of the stores are. The room is a decent size with two rooms. A full size bathroom as well. The beds are decently comfortable, but not the best. Not any type of kitchen.

Hotel was clean and quite. Staff were very friendly and helpful. No complaints with the "hotel", But the food at the in hotel restaurant PETALS was awful. Six of is ate there and only one of the meals was edible. Pasta was overcooked, the Alfredo sauce looked like water and the broccolli tasted old. So if you do stay here the hotel is okay, just don't waste your money on the food.

They have a great rate for Family that is being cared for at Strong. Excellent restaurant, I would come here even if I wasn't staying here! Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean hotel with every amenity you could ask for! Highly recommended!
