I just received a 6 drawer dresser from R &R Discount Furniture. The delivery guys came on time and they had to carry up the dresser up stairs. They were very careful taking it up stairs and they put it together for me. The delivery guys were very careful and were so nice.
I would recommend this furniture store to my friends.

The owner, Marilyn Rangel, was such a pleasure to work with over the phone while shopping for furniture for my daughter who lives in Austin. She was very kind and accommodating over the phone and made every effort to stay within our budget. Delivery was arranged super fast, which was so appreciated! I highly recommend R&R Discount Furniture. My son, a student at UT-Austin, needed bedroom furniture for his house. He was in California and I was in NJ so neither of us could physically see and pick the furniture. But Vincent (owner’s son) sent me pictures and pricing for all of the in-stock options. I selected a set and it was delivered on schedule and set up in the house. Vincent promised to fix any damaged pieces, but the furniture arrived with no damage. When I realized my son needed a thin box spring, I called Vincent and he arranged for it to be delivered with the rest of the furniture, notwithstanding the short notice. Vincent was a pleasure to work with, extremely responsive by text and cell phone and did not take advantage of the fact that we were buying furniture sight unseen. To the contrary, R&R provided excellent customer service and a pleasant virtual shopping experience.

Robert Angie and Amy are the absolute best. I spent well over 2 hours there today and their patience is unyielding. I purchased a complete bedroom set and Robert gave me an incredible deal on the mattress. The warranty service and selection is the best in town. I love this place! We had been looking for chairs everywhere and finally found what we liked for $20 cheaper then everywhere else. Then we looked many places months later for a couch and ended up finally what we liked again at the perfect price. Now we just went back again and found our dinning room table, huge love chair, tv stand, and book case all for amazing prices! This is our furniture go to store and the management is so helpful and nice.

I stumbled across this furniture store after grabbing lunch at Din Ho Chinese BBQ. I'd been considering purchasing a new couch, but hadn't found one that I liked AND was in my price range. I'm so glad I came across R&R! I found the perfect sofa and it was on sale. Robert was persuasive, but not pushy.

I needed to get rid of my (then) current sofa before I could take delivery on the new couch, so Robert suggested that I pay half on the couch that day to lock in the price. Then, when I was able to get rid of the old couch, to call him to arrange delivery and pay for the rest of the couch. Sounded great to me! After paying half on the couch, I looked around at the dining sets, and saw one that I liked. I didn't purchase it that day, but it stayed on my mind.

A week or so later, I decided that I wanted the dining set and couch, but didn't want to deal with the hassle of selling them on Craigslist or something. So, when I went pay the remaining balance on the couch and purchase the dining set, Robert said the delivery men would haul off the old sofa and dining set (for free). Sweet!

The delivery men arrived the next day, and were very prompt and professional during the delivery and set up. The $60 delivery charge was very reasonable, especially since my apartment is on the 3rd floor. :-) I'm a big proponent of shopping locally, and the next time I'm in the market for new furniture, I will definitely stop at R&R first.

About a year ago I was shopping for a small bar-height kitchen table set. I went to a number of midrange furniture stores and became generally annoyed with the pushy salesman, not to mention didn't find anything quite like I was looking for in my price range. I finally stopped at R&R Discount despite the kind of run-down exterior. Inside definitely looks "discount," the carpets are horribly stained, the furniture is generally just crammed in there, and there's never many customers milling about. But thankfully I didn't judge the place by the appearance and checked out what they had.

I ended up finding a table set that was just what I was looking for and at a reasonable price. It's Ashley brand and very sturdy and attractive. The sales people are friendly, too, and not pushy. One word of caution: be sure to inspect the furniture before you buy it. A couple of the chairs in my set were a bit warped and didn't sit properly on the floor. Thankfully, they had a couple sets and let me pick-and-choose the best chairs! I came away very satisfied.

Recently my girlfriend was looking for an entertainment center for a 56" TV. We did the same thing, looked at some of the "nicer" chain places and still didn't quite find anything like we wanted. Went to R&R and they had something very promising in their catalog. We ordered it (had to place a deposit), and once it came in it was just as beautiful as we hoped. Again, what we paid was in line with similar offerings at other places, but I'd say the quality and general beauty of the piece was much better here. They delivered this piece and we had no complaints with the service.

I'll definitely return next time I'm looking for more furniture! Recommended for those shopping for nice and durable furniture without the showroom price.
