We didn't get the room we wanted then the shower was broken in the second room we got. The third room was decent but we were too tired to really care anymore.

Consistently good stays. We stop here at least twice a year before we go to Asheville. Nice staff. Good enough rooms, although very dated. Pretty good buffet.

The rooms were clean and had plenty of space. The breakfast is hot and fresh. The housekeeping staff are friendly and consistent. The front desk staff are always willing to help and very friendly. Close to I40, near stores, and restaurants. Great place to stay.

Suite sized rooms for a cheap motel price! Great food in the area! Can't go wrong here. Great wifi also.

Not a bad hotel. Laid out kinda wonky, but comfortable bed. Tiny bathroom and the AC acted weird. But the price was great.

We made a last minute reservation. When we arrived, an hour later, we were given a free upgrade because the room type we requested was full. The bed was amazing!! Made up perfectly with wonderful linens. The accommodations could not have been nicer. The pool was lit for night and very clean. Everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast was great. The staff is so friendly and helpful. One of the best Hotel experiences I have had and I travel a lot.

This hotel has been updated. The rooms are comfortable. The facilities are clean. There is a breakfast bar that offers a wide range of the usual breakfast items (eggs, sausage, grits, cereal, waffles, COFFEE). The staff is helpful and provides good customer service. There is no elevator. All the rooms are accessible from outside or via stairwells. There is a decent swimming pool and outdoor area. All around a good hotel.

They gave us a smoking room to begin with. They claimed that the smoke was coming from the downstairs floors. I can't imagine how much one would have to smoke to make it that powerful of a stench! They were kind enough and gave us another room. The rooms were nice enough, but we then had someone else they tried to assign come in the door to our new room! Overall the establishment is fine but maybe the staff could use some work.

Rooms are nice, clean, and large - but the internet is super slow and shuts down/requires signing in very frequently. I called the front desk about my connection problems and I was told to call a 1-800 number. Not a place to get work done if you require the internet.
The gym equipment is also old - treadmill and weight machine stick and are not fluid in movement. The stationary bicycle is from another centuryand broken.response / report this review -

My stay at Quality Suites in Hickory was fantastic, I had a few special requests for my room before I arrived and all were taken care of. The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. Thanks for a wonderful visit. Will be seeing you again soon

I stay here once weekly. The staff is friendly, awesome people. The rooms are be spacious. Comfortable beds. Microwave fridge and coffee maker. Available basic workout room. This place is clean clean clean. You'll never regret staying here.
