This isn't the Ritz. The outside doesn't look great, and it is an old, outdated building. BUT - for the money this is the best motel around. The rooms are clean, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the beach is clean and easily accessible. We've stayed here at least three different times over the years and have always had a good experience. Again, this is not the Ritz, but the value is MUCH better than any other motel in the area. Expect clean rooms, comfortable bedding, friendly people, and no worries.

My family and I were escaping for the Thanksgiving Holidays to Daytona/ Ormond Beach. When I went to check in, I realize that the Pic online wasn't very truthful but I also took in consideration hotel was doing some sort of renovation. The room I was in 418 Needed major work. BUT that's not where my problem was. On the second night my husband went to lay my daughter down to bed and saw 2 big bed bugs crawling on the pillow. (that morning my oldest mention something bit her but we just thought it was bugs from the beach .. we are Floridians after all.) He brought the pillow in the kitchen to have me look at it. I have been in the hotel business half my life so I am familiar with it. We called the night clerk he came up. We showed him and even showed him the pillow and etc. he striped the bed proceeded to tell us we were lying and we were the one who brought the bed bugs.. he proceeded to have a shooting argument with my husband in front of my children. HE was so unprofessional. My family and I packed our belongings and left at midnight because were NOT staying there after all that. We drove down to saint Augustine for an additional 2 days. We refuse to let this hotel ruin our vacation. I got in contact with management and he told me he would get back with me. Its been since Nov 23rd .. so I am forced to leave this review as I tried so hard not to. The only one at the hotel that has been pleasant was OLGA. I will never stay here again ..

Very friendly greeting upon arrival. Room was clean and view was amazing. Better insulation or soundproofing would help as we heard people standing outside our room being loud taking pictures, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay for the price and view.

Worse place I have ever stayed. When my family and I checked in we noticed there were a good amount of clothes that was left behind in one of those dresser by the previous guest. That should have been our clue that the room wasn't clean properly. Our children were extremely exhausted from the drive so we spent the night next day as I was putting my daughter to bed I noticed there were 2 bedbugs on one of the pillows. I called the person on duty to come look at it, instead of apologizing, the gentleman decided to argue with me in front of my children; therefore, we decided to check out the same night. Besides the beach view from our suite, this place is dump and I will never stay there again.

Clean hotel room with friendly and helpful staff. Ocean view, breakfast in A.M. provided eggs, a meat, and other choices. Enjoyed the stay.

Generously sized rooms. Full kitchens. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. Great location on the beach. Best of all, it is affordable without compromising cleanliness or quality. They also have complimentary hot breakfast and soft drinks. I would definitely stay here again.

Quality Inn on the beach is a great place to stay the staff and the service there is awesome. They also offer smoking rooms and they have a complimentary breakfast that is very good. It is comfortable and it is convenient.

Nice clean room, great staff, spectacular view of the ocean and pool. It's not a resort, but it was a great place to stay. The only con was that at night in the parking lot it was dark and could use more lighting.

This place is very clean. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are large. All rooms have beach view. Staff were very friendly and the price was great! I would definitely stay here again.

Needs some maintenance, mostly paint and deep cleaning. The lobby was nice. Decent typical hotel breakfast. "Hot" tub was cold. Pool was dirty. They have pvc pipes hanging from balconies dripping ac condensate. Room was pretty nice (better than expected after seeing the outside). Additional charge if you don't clean your own kitchen equipment. I would recommend washing before using.

An older motel on the beach, very nicely redone. Large, spacious rooms and suites. Some of the most comfortable beds and crisp linens I've ever experienced. Priced Right for what you get.

Good location. Rooms are nice. We had room with a full kitchen which was great. I think every room has a beach view which is nice. Good free breakfast every morning too! We will come back here again as the price and location are both great.
