Good service and food. I enjoyed the open area of Q Bar plenty of natural light. The drinks were good as well.

Came here after major disappointment at Biergarten. What a difference! The staff are caring and make sure that you feel welcome and get what you want. We were going to order for the kids form the healthy kids menu (lots of organic choices), but the waiter recommended having a look at the lunch buffet @ $5 for kids. They had delicious chicken breast, freshly prepared pasta with a good number of topping choices and desert. There also was a tomato bisque that was quite tasty. I had a Texas Torta (pork BBQ on a bun), which was a bit dry but tasty. Didn't care much about their fries either (too greasy). The kid's steak was delicious and came with home-style fries. The pasta chef was very friendly and made sure we got what we wanted.
Very pleasant lunch. Although we came towards the end of their lunch period (just before 2pm), we never felt hurried by staff.response / report this review -

Found this place on accident while spending the evening in SA, in town from ATXI come from the restaurant industry ages agowhen good service was something to be proud ofit seems too often these days that establishments no longer care about the interaction of the server and the guest! My husband & I were beyond pleased with our service provided by Jasmine! She was attentive, engaging and just down right great! We will absolutely return to Kitchen Q to visit Jasmine! Kudos to a job well doneand repeat gueststhat will always describe what a great experience we had because of the amazing service we received!!! Dawn & Joe!

We were a group of 8 and had the pasta & salad lunch buffet. The food was very good with the pasta chefs expertly mixing the ingredients of your choice. Standard pasta and toppings choices. The greens and fruits were very fresh. There was nothing remarkable about the dessert bar, cookies, pie, and cake not quite as fresh as the salad bar. The wait staff was a little short with us, but we were a large group without reservations. Overall a good experience.

Delicious food, attentive and friendly staff. Clean and appealing presentation of the breakfast buffet. Bananas foster french toast was perfect, and the street tacos were really good. Buffet was kid-friendly.

The food was sub-par at best. I watched them try to get my friend's order right 3 times and still got it wrong (she ordered the grilled tuna and got a tuna sandwich at first, undercooked tuna the second time and burnt tuna steak the third time), she finally gave up. The staff at the bar was so preoccupied with serving the men that the women got little to no attention at all. In a week at this hotel, we frequented the bar the first 3 nights hoping to get better service but it was always the same. If the men in our party were with us, we got drinks quickly and our drinks were refreshed constantly. When we went alone (just girls) we literally had to call a server over to get a drink. Decided it was better eating and drinking on the River Walk after the bad experience.
