We enjoy so much on their menu that commenting on one thing can't usually be done. Tonight however, the artichokes romano were a hit and thinking about my chicken salad, although quite delicious, makes we want to order the arties next time around. Maybe with a side of pasta. Yum. Service is always attentive.
Service was adequate. Mixed reviews on the food. My lasagne was fair at best, no ricotta cheese or cheese over top. Father in law said ribs were good as well as the husbands spicy meatball & pasta dish. The best hot sausage I've ever had. Sliced bread from the grocery store was sad.
Used to go here all the time years ago.. this place has gone COMPLETELY downhill. Food was terrible, took literally 30 minutes to get a water once we first sat down, salads were brought after our main meals after asking where they were and we were told "we had to go to the store to get salad stuff" on a Friday evening. All our food was freezing cold, we sent it back and left. All my friends in the area have said the same thing, and stopped going there after terrible experiences. Such a shame..
We went for dinner last night. The server was very nice, and also attentive but not overbearing. My lasagna was outstanding, wife enjoyed eggplant parmesan, portion was huge!! My daughter had a huge meatball sub that was very good.
First time there, definitely planning for another visit the next time I'm back in the Monroeville area.
Great menu, enough variety to please most people. Definitely an Italian restaurant, but I love those since I live in St. Louis. Dinner was great, although my calzone was so big it could have been a bit hotter. Minor quibble, really. Everything else fantastic.
We sat in a bar booth and the service was also quick, efficient, attentive, and friendly. It was a Friday night and trivia was also 'happening', but it didn't seem all that intrusive and was finished before I even realized it.
Recommended.
Amazingly good Octoberfest menu and product for an Italian restaurant. There are better German restaurants in the City of Pittsburgh but not in the East Hills. The service is always wonderful and their pizza is outstanding!
Great local place , good food. Nice space for parties at the hall renting.
A favorite of ours. Fabulous food, great service. Best zucchini ever.
Went with my family, 10 adults, for a birthday dinner recently. We counted that over 20 errors had been made including many of us not receiving our food at all, some receiving the wrong meals and the ones with correct plates had under cooked seafood. I usually wouldn't post something so negative but it was a slow Wednesday night, there was no reason that so many things went wrong at once.
Three in one. Take your pick. Quiet restaurant, sports bar, sun deck. Extensive menu, portions are huge, service is great. Entertainment on the deck is varied. Some acts are great for the senior crowd.
Service was good. Waitress was fast. Food was excellent.
Good place to eat. nice staff
I have visited this place since it opened (many years). In my opinion they have had some of the best ribs around… that is until my last visit on March 6, '16. The ribs were under cooked to the point I had to use a knife to cut the burnt meat from the rib bones. To make matters worse the burnt meat was slathered with BBQ sauce in an obvious attempt to hide the burnt ribs. That was my meal. My wife wasn't real hungry so she ordered something simple…. Extreme mac & cheese. The macoroni was undercooked. Who ever the chef (cook) was should be fired!
I eat here alot, great prime rib, and about the best fried zucchini strips this county has to offer.
Great food. Good beer selection. Nice people working their.
