I was there back in May. Memorial Day weekend. Coming from Arizona. I was in search for some tacos. I found the Holy Trinity Tacos, Tequila, and excellent and knowledgeable staff. I was blessed at the wall of Holy water. Corralejo. This is only the 2nd time I have found this brand at " so called " authentic establishments. So to say the very least I was pleased. I've been planning to go back very soon. No other places I've gone to have come close to the experience I had. See you soon.
Great menu and atmosphere. Very friendly staff. We walked in here trying to find a place to eat and could not have been happier with our choice. La Vecindad has some of the best fish tacos I've ever had, and the same goes for their micheladas.
4 stars because everything food quality and ambiance wise is fantastic! Minus 1 star because I feel that prices are just slightly higher than they should be for the size tacos you are receiving. Overall a great experience though and a place you should definitely check out while in Hillcrest.
This place is amazing! My wife and I dined here while we were visiting San Diego and we really enjoyed it. Excellent food, drinks, and staff. It was an all around wonderful experience. Whenever we are in San Diego, we will be sure to visit this place again without a doubt. Lol I highly recommend that you do the same. ;)
Ima say it straight up. They don't have Orchata, it was a bummer for me! The food was alright but super expensive. I payed eleven dollars for two tacos! They were decent size but it's not enough to fill you up! The decor is nice but I won't be coming back. Like I said, food was decent but the price does not justify! I was expecting a big meal. It's pet friendly, so that was nice and the salsas were good as well. Definitely not a taco shop type of place because they do sell original Mexican dishes.
Ignacio the bartender (and owner I'm guessing from his bearing) greeted us with a handshake and a smile at the bar. Happenstance had us there on Taco Tuesday, which offers two tacos for $6. The fish taco is not to be missed, let me tell you. The margaritas are strong and not overloaded with sugar. And if your Spanish is crappy but you like to try anyway, they encourage you. We love this place already!
My favorite place to eat in San Diego. The cream textured green salsa is the best salsa I've ever had and it's great on anything on the menu. My favorites are the Lalo and Al Pastor tacos. Don't forget to grab a drink! The coco loco margherita is what I usually get and I don't even like coconut normally. The staff is always very friendly and makes sure you have a good time.
Tacos are so bomb. Had their Pescado Taco with the house creamy jalapeno sauce. Too good!
Great food. The staff is really friendly. Prices are pretty good. Come Tuesday for cheaper tacos and cheap drinks. The decoration is adorable. Great place for family too.
Service and food are top notch! Too bad I live two hours away, drive almost seems worth it. The meat in the tacos is not only tasty, but the quantity is very generous. It's the best Al Pastor I've had north of the border. I washed it all down with a spicy Michelada. Next time I'm in town I'm for sure stopping here first.
Live music, strong drinks, and great atmosphereAlways a great time with outstanding tacos! The bartender's here make the experience the best! I highly recommend making friends with them if you want to have a great time!
