FRONT OFFICE IN EDMONDS NEEDS TRAINING

Having a hard time dealing some the scheduler.

Lisa B doesn't seem to understand her job,she raised her voice at me because she recieved the call on the incorrect line, i told her i was only following the telephone prompt. She was not knowledgeable about my insurance plan nor was she willing to educate herself. She repeatedly denied that puget sounds gastro accepts uhc standard members without a referral even after it had been confirmed by their billing office that i do not need to be referred. Totally unwilling to investigate or ask a peer. It was less than desirable dealing with these non caring, ignorant, rude, unmotivated individuals. I felt like cheated customer dealing disputing a utility bill. No one deserves to receive this sort of service from a dr's office ,you are already ill anf in suffering we need more caring and compassionate providers.

My Dr at the office when I first came to PSG was fantastic and took a lot of time with me, however my experience with the colonoscopy was not so great. They heard you in like cattle on a farm, and take no time to make sure your comfortable. The physician who did my procedure didn’t even talk to my husband after, instead just talked to me for all of 10 seconds while I was still partially sedated and remembered nothing. I was rushed out of there so fast, it felt like there was no care to be sure I was even ready to leave. I could hardly walk. Not a patient centered environment at all, felt more like a business operation.

Very responsive and Dr Schineier is now my new GI. He listens and is very attenative to my needs. A good GI is difficult to find and as a person with Crohn's it's imparitive to have one. I'm very happy with the staff as they are very helpful and getting an appt has been good.

I've had great experiences here. The ARNPs and MDs are patient-centered, and truly strive to listen proactively. They are better at communication than most clinics I've experienced.

I scheduled an appointment with these people at the Everett location, specifically stating I had to go to that one due to where my work is located. They changed it without telling me it was at a different location TWICE. So TWICE I took time off of work and drove to the Everett location, just to be told it had been moved to Edmonds. Needless to say I am done and going to the Everett Clinic. I will never recommend this place to anyone!

The building is busy and it is difficult to communicate at times. But if you are truly ill they will find a way to see you and rectify your issues. Great doctors, great nurses.

    Profit-centered, not patient-centered.

I had a colonoscopy here in February 2014 and they found nothing (yay!). But, I was stuck with a $1,300 bill, after insurance paid their share. I couldn't afford to pay this in full so I set up a payment plan. I missed a payment toward the end of my payment plan (about $200 left) and they sent me to collections without informing me before hand. They made zero effort to work with me on payments -- they only set up a plan after I made it clear that I flat out could not pay $1,300 at once, and then sent it to collections without informing me. I'm not sure I even needed a colonoscopy based on my age and symptoms - and I talked to two other people who had colonoscopies there that seemed unnecessary, and sure enough they found nothing and the patients were left holding the bag. The only thing they care about is squeezing every last penny out of their patients.
