I'll be honest. I'm beyond disappointed with the management for a gourmet store. I observed a tall man wearing a button down scolding a employee. When I approached the employee making a joke about the man I was told it was the store owner. I am unaware what the conversation was about, but this is no way to treat an employee in front of customers. The management of Premier Gourmet does not seem to value their employees therefore has lost all of my future purchases. The key to any business is to value employees as they are the face of the store. Hopefully the store owner of Premier Gourmet will understand this at some point.
Wonderful selection of liquor, wine and spirits. Friendly and helpful staff. Store is clean and easy to navigate.
Best local place for beer selection. Tons of growler options. Fantastic coffee sold by the pound. Also a great place for gifts, especially "buffalo" gifts to send to out of town family and friends.
Great beer selection but very unorganized. Also, very expensive. $1 to $2 more expensive than other retailers. Expensive dry goods and kitchen wares. Awesome fresh coffee selection. They also make sandwiches out of their deli during the day. Would like to sales or features.
Selection galore in all goumet areas. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Prices aren't bad considering you get what you pay for. Attached to a well stocked liquor and wine store. Tastings and samples at both (alcohol only for adults)
There are some great people here that love craft beer and are very helpful. I come here every time I'm in town. However, today, was terrible. Some dorky hipster douche with glasses was extremely rude and condensing towards me I saw a tag on the counter for a Grimm release. I asked do you have this? He said rudely "if the tag is here then we have it" I asked for a 4-pack and he said it was a one can limit. First of all, absolutely ridiculous limit, but I can respect that. So I took my can and browsed. Later I was speaking to a very helpful guy that said I could have an extra can after explaining I'm from Canada and would live to take one home for a friend. Thank you. That is the kind of service I expect here. When I was at the cash, that hipster douche ran up to the cash and removed my second can while yelling at me about the one can limit. Honestly who cares this much. You had 5 cases. I will go to Aurora Brew Works from now on. That was my last ever stop at Premier Gourmet. I hope that douche reads this. You aren't important and you don't matter.
Love stopping here. Great selection of craft beers. If you are stumped for a great beer, grab one of the boys in the back by the beer for great picks!
even though I was only there to get beer I walked out with a couple little trinkets and kitchen tools. it's a nice place. great beer selection.
Great prices on most things. Some items are slightly expensive. Huge selection and you can always find someone to ask a question if you are unsure about something.
Great selection of beer. I've never bought anything else here as everything is ridiculously overpriced including the beer. Some of the staff have stuck up attitude which you would expect from a place like this.
I love to just wander the aisles and browse. So many things that you can't get anywhere else. I always find simmering new and interesting to try.
This place opened a few years ago and I have yet to find anywhere else that comes close to how awesome this place is.
This place has the most varied selection I have ever seen. Decent prices as well. Promotions are often worthwhile.
Best place for craft beer in Buffalo by far. Their tap list and bottle selection is superior to the others in the area. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and can help guide you to new beers based upon your favorite styles or taste. I'm not sure how they do it but their tap list ALWAYS has solid beer unlike the other guys in town. I keep an empty growler in my car so anytime I'm out that way I can stop in and grab a world class beer. Keep up the great work!
I love that this place is a one stop shop for finer spirits, craft brews, and wines. Their gourmet store has an awesome selection of snack/bar foods and higher end products like gourmet cheese, desserts, and other food. Their fill up station for growlers is convenient and the set up allows beer to stay fresher, longer than any other establishment's growler service. Also, love the fact that they offer spirit and wine tasting classes. I would also recommend it for any at home chefs, tons of kitchen supplies from appliances to utensils, and decorative pieces.
