Lynn is great! We have purchased twice from Powell's Furniture and so glad we did! We first purchased a mattress set and a bed frame, and after enjoying the experience with Lynn, we opted to purchase a living room sectional from Lynn again. Great customer service-- extremely attentive to our preferences and very patient. There are plenty of furniture stores from which to choose, but I highly recommend Powell's Furniture!!!

Bought a $1200 couch there several years ago because it was the only one I could find that fully reclined after surgery. Purchased the extended warranty. After a year and a half the bonded leather peeled. Was told not covered by warranty and 12 month factory warranty expired. Their solution was to buy a different piece and they would give a "good deal". I wanted the piece repaired so they sent a service man who came out but never returned my phone calls for a year and a half because we had an agreement be would repair himself on the side. When I spoke to store manager a year and a half later he did not want to deal with it and offered same "deal" as before or pay for repairs by the same service man who called and cursed me out (still have recording). I was willing to pay for materials but wanted sofa repaired at no charge. Manager was unwilling to do that and so my $1200 couch now sits in a storage unit because the material peeled so badly. My last name is Powell but I will never recommend Powell's furniture to anyone. Their loss. My son just bought a house and needs furniture but he won't be getting it from Powell's and my friends all know as well. I have never posted a review of any kind but 5 years after this sale it still bugs me. Blame lies with the manufacturer Southern Motion who knew there was an issue, the manager who seemed to only want to sell me more furniture for more money, the repairman who did not keep his word, and me for not researching and trusting that a retailer would fairly stand behind what they sell.

GREAT experience!! We had gone to every furniture store in area & could not find anything we liked. Was greeted by Beverly she aid she was going to give us a few minutes to walk around. While walking around a gentleman asked if we would like a bottle of water. Salesman asked if we had any questions & introduced himself as Jim Powell. Jim was VERY knowledgeable answered all our questions. Was extremely patient & not pushy at all. Jim then turned sale back to Beverly to finish. Looking forward to our knew couches & will go back to get tables once couches are delivered & know exactly what we want & size.

Excellent customer service. A very large and beautiful showroom. Alex was our salesperson, he was very professional, was able to answer many questions and ultimately helped us find two perfect love seats. We also met the owner Mr. Powell while browsing. He was very friendly, welcoming and told us about the history of the family owned business. He also told us many great things about the furniture they sold at the store. We had been to many places looking for the perfect furniture, and we found that Powell's Furniture was the BEST! We live 45 minutes from the store and won't hesitate to shop there in the future. We highly recommend this great store!

I found Alex Wilson and the entire Powell’s team to be extremely helpful and patient. I was looking for a master bedroom set but my lady couldn’t be there on the first day. Alex showed me some of the wide selection on the floor. I narrowed the field to three. On Monday I returned with my lady and together we looked at the three I chose and eventually she chose a completely different set. Alex was again super helpful in explaining all the differences and their prices were the best I have seen. And we looked at a bunch of places. Nothing touched the quality or customer care Powell’s offered. When I need morefurniture the search will be easier. One stopPowell’s.

Went to a couple furniture stores. Could not get what we wanted for our family room. Stopped in Powell's. Wow, what great store. Our salesperson (Kelly) took us straight to what we wanted. Kelly helped us pick out the fabric. What a selection of swatches. 😀 Love our sectional couch.Thank-you, Kelly for making it so easy.

We had a great experience, the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable on their products and they were never pushy. After ordering our furniture, Mr. Powell himself told our salesman that he had the same exact piece of furniture in his own home and even sent us a picture! It really makes you feel like you made a great decision knowing the owner of the company has the same product in his own home. We will definitely recommend powells furniture to our friends/family!

We had a great experience buying a new living room set. Selection was excellent and the service was exceptional - very helpful without being pushy. The owner was also present in the store and making sure everyone was being taken care of - nothing like the family-run business touch! Overall an outstanding experience - highly recommend this store.

Went there with my girlfriend to look for a new bed and couch🤔. Walked in and we were greeted pretty quickly by Beverly Cherry who was very nice and didn't mind a joke or two! 😂We felt comfortable there within a few minutes and found exactly what we were looking for thanks to Beverly's help😄. I believe we were done shopping and doing paperwork in an hour which, to me, seemed pretty quick and easy! 😁 Definitely recommending this place to friends and family especially while this sale is going on🤑!

Great quality products, excellent selection and showroom. The staff is very friendly. There was no pressure and, after searching at several other area furniture stores, we know it was a good deal. Plus, you can customize the pieces you want, we custom ordered fabric and added a swivel base to our recliners, that is hard to find with competitive pricing but Powell's had it all. Thanks again!

It has been a great satisfaction for us doing business with Powell's since 2010. This time on Dec 5/2016, we got a beautiful set from Sunny Designs a "Sedona Round Table with Lazy Susan in Rustic Oak". The customer service staff and sales associates provides an awesome care to the client. In particular, General Manager David Richardson was very helpful and answered all the pertinent questions. Delivery guys were on time and did the assembly perfectly. In addition, we love the good quality and inventory of the merchandise Powell's have on the showroom. I highly recommend Powell's Furniture store!! ..Thank you!

My wife and I had a wonderful shopping experience purchasing furniture at Powell's this past weekend. Lynn Miller was extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. She gave us freedom to roam around and allowed us all the time we needed. It took two trips and several hours to determine what would work best for us based on how we planned to use the home. The owner, Jimmy Powell took the time to speak to us on both occasions and sat down to answer any additional questions that we had. If you have been in other showrooms, you will be impressed by how beautiful and clean this showroom is. Everything is laid out and displayed in groups to help you envision how it can look in your home. Do your homework, but shop local when you are ready to buy, you will be happy that you did!

We purchased our furniture from Powell's in September. There was no pressure salesperson bugging us - but he was around and helpful when we asked questions. We couldn't decide on the first visit so we shopped around and found for the quality and price Powell's couldn't be beat. We love our new couch and recliner! We also got 6 months same as cash financing! I'm very happy with our experience and will shop Powell's again.

Successfully bought all new bedroom furniture today and was in and out within 15 minutes! Love the flexibility of Powell's and the ability to shop online. Having two small children makes it nearly impossible to successfully take the time required in stores to purchase big ticket items (cars, furniture, etc.). My husband and I got Alex's info on our first visit, spent a couple of weeks searching the inventory online, and emailed back and forth with Alex in pricing. It was so relieving walking right in today and knowing exactly what I wanted. Alex was very personable and was completely understanding about my tight timeline. Thank you, Powell's, for making it easy on us who prefer to shop online but want the quality and customer service of a local business! Totally stress-free and plenty of time to search through all wonderful options!
