Great food, good beer, knowledge staff, but not very good on keeping their information up to date (drove 30 min for supper one visit based on posted hours, only to be told that their own website was wrong, with those hours being seasonal)

I really enjoyed the brewery tour
The food was great and they have
The beer museum which was fun and informative. It was a very senic drive about two and a half hours from Milwaukee

Go and see this wonderfully historic brewery and all the fantastic beer and food that goes with it. Continue your trip along the Great River Road to explore new places!

Wasn't impressed with this brewery at all. Waited 5+ minutes to even be greeted, after both manager and hostess stood in front of us taking and walked away without even acknowledging us. Once the hostess came back, we were given a buzzer and told 35 min wait, but was buzzed after about 15 minutes (not bad). Sat us in the corner behind the copper holding tanks. Took 10 minutes before anyone even came to the table. 6 servers on the floor and not one of them acknowledge us, until finally I caught someone's eye. Saw other reviews that the pretzels were awesome. The cheesy soup had little flavor, and the pretzels were small. Not worth $7. Also, did not come with a spoon for the soup. Ordered the Slaw B-Q with garlic herb fries for $13. The fries were barely warm and had no garlic flavor to them at all. Simple beer batter fries, nothing special. The sandwich was good, but again not worth the $13 and nothing special. The beer is definitely better than the food.
    Beer: 4 stars
    Food: 3 stars
    Service: 2 stars
We definitely wouldn't drive out of our way to come here again.

I had a flight of beers for $8, friend cheese curd for $9 and soft pretzels with cheese soup to dip them in fro $7. Everything is excellent. Nice folks, and it's a non-profit operation. Definitely worth a stop.

I enjoy this place. They have really good food - when they are consistent. Beer is pretty good but nothing overly unique for a micro brew pub. Either way it's solid. Never been on the tour but it looks neat.

My 5 star review is for the brewery, beer and tour. The restaurant would be about a 3.
This was the best brewery tour I've been on ( and I've been on many). The tour leaders have a passion for beer and a passion for Potosi. I found it interesting how locals worked together to create the rebirth of a historic brewery. Lots of beers to choose from. We had an added bonus, their Beer Blast was the evening of our visit so we were treated to a free country western concert.

Every year I take two canoe trips on the Wisconsin River with a group of friends and, at the conclusion of those trips, we stop at the Potosi Brewery for lunch. I look forward to the trips and to the visits to Potosi all year. I love the food, the beer, the building, and the scenery. You cannot go wrong visiting the Potosi Brewery.

Tour the Potosi Brewery museum, this is a self guided tour, but well worth it. View the cave where they stocked the brew back in the 1800's.
Make sure you stop and sample a few brews when your done.

    Neat experience all around!

After driving into this beautiful part of Wisconsin we started things off with lunch at the Brewery Restaurant. A guided tour of the facility cost $12 which includes a Potosi Beer glass, and a free tap beer. So we redeemed the free beer with lunch. (Cheers to the Steamboat Shandy and Wee Stein Wit!) The servers were alright, friendly, but I felt like we waited awhile as many of them stood around and looked pretty. The Reuben sandwich was terrific as well as the Cajun pub fries.

Our tour guide was a Potosi native and Potosi Brewing company and a board member. Quite informative tour of the old buildings as well as the new facility built just down the road. In the tasting room, we felt like he was just giving the beer away! My wife and I sampled probably 8-9 different taps, and then were given a full cup of whichever one we liked the most for the rest of the tour!

Great place, Great beer, and all profits to charity!

The chicken club sandwich was very good. The chocolate cake without ice cream was mushy.
The most disappointing part of the meal was the waitress's inatention to her customer and the slow service. The restaurant was not busy. The wait staff spent time talking to each other with their backs to the customers.
