Appointment was at 12:30pm, showed up at 12:15pm didn’t get taken in till almost 1:40pm, My daughter was scared of the photographer like most toddlers are, and the photographer just walked away and came back 5mins later and said to come in a different day because it was late and maybe my toddler was just over tired. And while I was getting my daughter ready to leave she clocked out for her lunch and I left with no photos.. the manager seems a little rude, I overheard her telling a customer she worked really hard on the photos and was upset that they didn’t want to pay 200some dollars. And let pressuring them. Also, while I’m a still waiting to get my photos done the manager just got up and said she was going to check on the garbage? I’m probably never coming back after that day. Such a mess

Never again will I EVER take my family here. Appointment was for 2pm, we did not get called for pictures until 3:30pm. To say I was irritated was an understatement, especially since the pictures were with my 4 month old and 15 year old daughter. To expect to get happy pictures from an infant after waiting that long is ridiculous. Not only did my baby not smile, she was fussy and cranky. Outside of her not smiling in any picture, the picture quality was TRASH. The props were outdated, dirty, and old. The lighting in one room was dark and gloomy and bright in another room. The change in lighting is evident in my pictures since mid shoot we switched to another room. After we finally finished taking pictures we were told come back in 15-20mins. We left and came back in 30mins and our picture order was never even sent to print!!! They told us wait another 15mins and come back. Came back and now the printer was frozen.one excuse after another. We did not leave until 5:30pm with our pictures. To spend 3 1/2 hours at an instant picture place is RUDE, disrespectful, and down right disgusting. I will never ever patronize here again!

I wish I could give this store zero stars. I left after waiting 2 hours past our appointment time and an additional 2 hours later with no pictures. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been so mad! They take your average quality pictures and then try to swindle you out of your money for their corporate packages. The sales representative reminded me of Sprint’s corporate in how they are after the customer’s money and not willing to help them have a good experience.

Just left without ever taking pictures after waiting an hour past our appt time and finding out 2 families were still ahead of us. They took the lego table out so nothing to entertain the kids. Try keeping a 3 yr old and 6 yr old busy for that long and then ask them to smile for photos. Worst customer service ever. This reminded me of the airlines totally overbooked and don't care if you wait or walk out. Horrible.

They advertise new seasonal backgrounds and then don't have them when you are in the middle of your appointment! I booked an appointment for "Fall Family Photos" it was in the notes and when my appointment started they asked what kind of photos I was there for I explained "fall" after the 2nd same backround I've had the past 3yrs they took me to another room for the "fall backrounds" and then proceeded to pull down a summer meadow. I again said I wanted FALL and was told they aren't allowed to release those. Now I have a pile of photos with yet again the same backgrounds. Oh, and it was $20 each sheet! What a joke!

    Customer services was horrible.
The photographer was not good with with kids especially toddlers and infants. Many of our photos shows us closing our eyes, looking somewhere else, or was not ready. The photographer did not help coordinate us to look at the camera and be ready. Out of all 30 portraits, only one was good enough to purchase. I would not recommend anyone to waste their money there - it's not worth it.

It's been a few years since I use this picture place and I see why. My first experience employees were rude and unprofessional. I call today for my daughter 3 year old pics to see what deals you guys may have and after the 3rd call someone finally answers but tells me to call back because she can't tell me any deals because she has a session going on? What kind company does have enough employees working? I understand you close in 30 minutes but from the time you open to close it should be enough workers to conduct a session and answer the phones. Smh I will be taking my business to picture people where I should of stuck with my first mind!! Yes they are more expensive but I guess it's true you pay for what you get!!

The staff here is very unprofessional & this was my second visit here. To start out they called me to verify my appointment the day before, the lady had to leave 2 voicemails because she was laughing too hard in the first when so hung up and left a second one still laughing in it. We showed up for our 3:30 appointment maybe 5 min early and waited very patiently for FORTY minutes until we finally got in to take my sons pictures. We were here to take my sons 2 year old birthday pictures and Easter pictures. When we get in the room the photographer just sat there waiting for my son to go by the backdrop. She had no direction, didn't use any props (until I started grabbing some) and didn't even have the camera ready to take pictures when my son got in a good pose. My son did not last long (probably because we waited 40 min and so now he was hungry) the photographer was showing no interest, I finally suggested to change outfits. I was feeling rushed since there was a family watching us waiting to get in that room and things were just not going well. The photographers asked me to reschedule and I was frustrated so we wrapped things up. Now I absolutely know it's not their fault my son got crabby but I knew we got a couple good shots so I wanted to see them. The photographer told me we only got 17 photos and you need 45 photos to upload them. WHAT?! I told her no I want to see what we have. She told me only a manager can do that, so I told her to get the manager. She then stated she was the manager and then she tried to tell me to call corporate. Absolutely not, I just wanted one photo and I refused to have wasted almost 2 hours to leave with nothing. Finally she uploaded them and let me pick one and printed it off all for free for me. I most likely will not be coming back especially after reading other reviews from recent visits.

I have been using Portrait Innovations for years. I went this time to have my daughter's yearly photo taken. The photographer, NICK, took her pictures and we started to review them. When I placed my coupon for the package on the desk, I was told that I couldn't use it "by itself" and it had to be used in conjunction with a purchase. "It was a new corporate rule." No where on the coupon did it say this. Not willing to spend $99 (the cheapest item, I was told, that I could use with the coupon) in addition to the $24 coupon package, I left with nothing. I called the corporate customer service to question this. They told me there was no such rule and I could have just purchased the $24 coupon package. I don't know why Nick lied to me, especially since we weren't exactly "problem" customers (my daughter is 14 and we didn't complain or do anything to turn him against us). I am more than furious that I dragged us there because my daughter woke with a fever. I would have rescheduled but couldn't find a day to change it to. So, I figured we'd just quickly get the pictures done with and call it a day. Then we ended up doing it for nothing! So, BEWARE, if you are told something that sounds strange, they may be lying to you. I would also request that you don't have NICK, especially if you are a teen or adult because he seemed to treat all customers the same -- I mean, really, do you have to ask me if she wants number blocks in the picture -- SHE'S 14, of course not! Oh, what also irks me the most is I swear that he was smirking when I said "Sorry, then, I guess I wasted both our time because I won't be purchasing anything now." Maybe he hates his job and wants to get fired?

We went for a photo with older children and an infant. We had the first appointment and there were no other customers in the store. We still waited 15 min before they called us and by now the baby was fussy. I presented my coupon and they stated that the coupon is an add on and I had to spend a MINIMUM of $130 in addition to the coupon price of 23.99. It doesn't state that anywhere on the coupon or on the website. The photographer looked like we were bothering him to be there. We said forget this and walked out. In the past, we have had crabby, pushy, and rushy photographers and the pictures are not the greatest quality. Never again. I will be calling corporate tomorrow, but according to the previous posts, I doubt it will make any difference. Thank goodness for JCPenney who fit us in at the last minute and did a wonderful job with our fussy baby at a fraction of the cost of PI.
