We were treated rudely by the employee called Junior. When we complained to receptionist, she informed us that the park manager was changing and the new one would not start for 2 weeks. Seems a little convenient, along with the fact she did not take our concerns seriously.
It was great while it lasted, once the owner saw the $$$$ offer from a builder, well say no more.. it was a nice clean place pool and clubjouae
Place is amazing the beach is beautiful😊 but they are defenitly loosing a bunch of customers with the prices. 1000 dollars a week😮.if you can afford it I recommend you go but it is defenitly not affordable for everyone .other places like state and national parks are 200 dollars 1 week.
Great park that we were able to get into at the last minute! Amazing sunset views! the pool is nice! spacious spots. The only thing I wasnt crazy about was the gravel lots and spots but it looks like thats how all the rv parks are in the keys. Not much landscape in the park so not many areas for dogs to relive themselves but still was fine. We enjoyed our stay here and cant wait to go back!
Very nice park, too bad they are tearing it down to build a hotel. The front desk said they would be closing May 1st 2017.
Awesome ocean side spot. We stayed a week for xmas and wish we could find something that compared every where we go!
I'd really say three and a half stars, most likely, but we had a good stay here. We stayed here in early December 2016 in a 32 foot class C motorhome. The place was almost empty. We were told by others that it was supposed to be closed after the past summer because condos were being built on the property, but the plans had changed and now they were going to keep it open as an RV resort for a while. They had canceled people's reservations and returned their money, so that probably explains why it was almost empty. That was kind of good for us though, since every day we had the pool and other facilities to ourselves. The folks working there were helpful and nice. The pool was great, with a nice clubhouse with a kitchen and game room. The laundry room didn't have any machines to buy laundry soap or any available, and was very expensive with a lot of machines broken, but that's apparently run by a separate party. They have motion sensors for the lights in the bathrooms, which turned off on my wife three times when she was taking a shower, very dangerous since it was then pitch black in there and she could have slipped in the wet and become hurt, not to mention pretty scary to not be able to find the walls, doors, etc to try to turn the lights back on. The park is all gravel, which is noisy and not good for pets to walk on. The pet area is pretty far away behind a dumpster, out by the road. The other folks at the park were friendly, and there were tall hedge rows between the sites for privacy. Site were fairly large. We had a waterfront and it was very nice with a great view. We walked to Mrs. Mac's for breakfast, very good, and also to CVS and the shopping around there (may be too long of a walk for some to that area). There's a great Cuban bakery and coffee shop directly across the street (Pinecrest Bakery) that we used to get coffee and pastries each morning.
