Drop Anchor was perfect old Florida feel. Plenty of space for our family of 5, clean & comfortable. Lovely little man made beach, cozy "cabana" with Adirondack chairs and a hammock for napping. It's not the Four Seasons, but it's classic & comfy.

Great place for a family vacation right on the water hammocks and lounge chairs all over. Stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage clean and nice. Owner and office people were very nice and helpful.

Very nice resort with an awesome view! Nice pool area, beachy area on the bay and the rooms have a nice cottage beach house feel. They have done a lot of restoration after the hurricane damage. Very nice employees who will help with anything you need. Recommend for anyone visiting Islmarada.

Made last minute reservations on a trip to the Keys and Julie was super accommodating with the bookings. We stayed in room 16 the first night and room 4 the second night and we loved both of them. 16 is great for a larger group or family with the two queen beds, one futon, and one pull out couch. The kitchen was also very nice. Definitely would recommend!

Just had a wonderful night at Drop anchor. The staff was friendly, the room (6) was spotless, and the grounds were comfortable. I enjoyed lounging in one of the many hammocks by the ocean and we put our paddle boards in right there too. We’ll be back!

The guy who checked me in was super friendly. He upgraded my room, which was awesome. The rooms are beautiful and the whole properly is so tranquil. It's perfect for quiet mornings watching the sun rise. I highly recommend!

Since we live in key West and we just had a baby, we want to get away for our anniversary but not to far from home. So we picked Drop Anchor for our weekend getaway. We loved this little spot. Great views and room. We will be back for sure.

Quaint motel, well kept grounds, manager very nice, rooms very clean and well decorated, beds very comfortable and a nice little touch with a salt scrub as part of the toiletries. Only issue was hot water in the room ran out after 1 shower.

We were here for 3 days and enjoyed our stay. Generally, this is a well-kept older property. Most rooms have private outdoor seating or eating areas. There is a small pool. There is additional shared outdoor seating near the ocean

A cozy sleepy resort just off the highway. Well appointed room. Kitchen and bathroom both a little small but still nice. The beach and pool area is delightful. A fire pit would be a nice addition for after dark.

Absolute perfection! They have a great view, clean, well maintained property and rooms. The pool was clean and refreshing. Only reason not 5 stars is the cleaning crew on some mornings was very loud. They seem to be shouting across the rooms to each other. This is a small, quiet older resort which is exactly what we were looking for. We didn't want a crowded resort with lots of amenities. The purpose of going to the Keys for us was to get away from all that and recharge our batteries. We will definitely be back!
