Explore the ancient coral barrier reef that is the foundation of the upper keys and parts of South Florida. ..You'll also see some of the original equipment used to quarry the stone as you walk the trail of tropical trees and native plant species. A must see on the Keys!

Well outlined trails with the park guidebook. Worth also taking the guided tour @10 or 2.
Check out the Flagler quarry. Windley trail was my favorite.

Really cool place to walk around. It was fun to talk to the park ranger. Make sure to take the guide book if you are interested in learning about the plants and coral formations :)

Nice place to stop for a walk. Cool fossils, flora, and fauna. They provide an educational trail guide that corresponds with stops along the trails. Parts were like walking through a jungle. Very peaceful!

Interesting history and it's kind of cool to walk INSIDE a fossilized coral reef by way of 3 quarries on the property, all connected by a series of short trails. In the quarries, fossils are on every surface, including underfoot.

Nice little state park, clean, and lots of interesting things to see. Rangers are helpful and friendly. Many interesting birds and plant species to see. They offer a laminated guide you can take on your hike to identify the different plants with interesting facts about them.

We love rocks and geology and this state park was a perfect find for us. The Park Ranger was wonderful and set us up with some extra activities for our toddler and we hiked most of the trails (with a stroller) and only encountered a few other users. Great information about the local plants and the history of the region.
