Pleasant family rafting on class I and II rapids.
Guides knew what to do and are pretty hands off.
They had a picnic lunch ready, and took care of the set up, clean up, all transportation & gear.
Only point off for not teaching paddle techniques before just letting everyone loose on the river.

It was a great experience, amazing crew.
highly recommended for family with kids ( our kids 11,9,6 year).
    Some tips
    1. Bathing suit
    2. Comfortable shoes
3.no wallet, if you are bringing your phone need to be secure to you at all time
3.one bottle of water for each person
    4.water gun
    5.clothes to change after rafting
6.and don't forget to have fun

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had in my life. So glad me and my boyfriend spent our anniversary rafting and had a great day. We felt safe, well guided and the nature was outstanding. Great team!

This was our first rafting experience. Pocono whitewater definitely took really good care of us. All the guides were super funny and friendly. The facility was very clean. My 12 and 9 years old really had a great time. Will definitely bring more friends and family to join us next year. Keep up the good work P.W!

Had a great time! Felt safe but wasn't bored. Clean facilities, things happened on time.

My only complaint is towards 1 of the guides. Batman and Maggie were great but the older gentleman with the beard that seemed to be in charge was an absolute condescending ass. He was grumpy the entire time on the trip, yelled at nearly everybody, and gave absolutely terrible instructions. I've been on more than 10 guided rafting trips and have never been annoyed by an instructor. He would simply pop a few yards ahead of you and shout out unclear instructions on where to turn at the last minute then yell at you when you missed it. Other times he'd stop and point at a spot- sometimes meaning "come here" and at other times meaning "avoid this rock." We had a running joke with the other rafts to shape up or you'd get yelled at it.

But aside from that guy, great trip.

What an adventurous and fun experience for our whole family and friends! Definitely a hidden jewel in PA! Our guides Mark, Ben and other two (sorry I should have remembered their names) are super friendly, informative, responsible, helpful and humorous! Thank you guys for all your hard work and patience! You guys are awesome!! Will go back to this fun filled exploration soon!

Fun with the family. I did both runs, and it's quite fun and different. The ride pack is the only negative, considering your cold and wet then. But they heat the bus so it's not that bad.

This place is perfect for whitewater rafting with family and friends. It's nice 4 hr long rafting experience with lunch included. (I recommend bringing your snacks and PB&J sandwiches). No previous experience required, still good to have at least one person in your group who has done this before 🙂. 🌊🚣

My family just did the upper dam release whitewater this past weekend (August 20, 9:30 a.m. slot), and everything about the experience was fantastic! We were a group of 8, split between two rafts of 4, aged 11 to 58, with no rafting experience. The 12 miles of class II and III whitewater gave us the perfect amount of excitement and thrill without being either too boring or too much for us to handle. We maneuvered our way through rapids and around rocks, being sure to get stuck on one or two (before bouncing our way off and paddling away like pros), and even had someone fall out of the raft. It was a blast! Our guides Austin, Will, and April simply could not have been better. A great team. They knew the river well, were clear with their instructions and directions both on and off the water, and made sure that everyone had a safe and awesome time. Between the rapids we dipped into the water for a swim and got into epic water fights with other rafts. And best of all, every one of us felt good and sore the next day. We will definitely be coming back for more rafting adventures with Pocono Whitewater!

I just went today and it was really fun. All the rapids were super fun. Our guide, Isaac Uhlman was so kind and delightful. All was fun but the rope swing. We saw a person slide down the slope and cut his hands very badly. My sister just sprained her hand. I was very disappointed. My advice, don't go on the rope swing. Also don't go on a dam release or you will get stuck on a LOT of rocks. I speak from experience.

We went for a family style rafting experience as my son is 5 year old. It was lots of fun and totally safe.

We had three amazing guides who were escorting us in their canoes. Very different from what I had done back in India - as we were controlling the rafts on our own. In India, the guides sit in your boat and basically manage the entire show.

Here, the sense of achievement was much greater as we were the ones controlling the boat all the time. We did get stuck once, but the guides helped us to get moving again.

    Really great experience.
