Friendly people. Cared-for horses. The trek to Nockamixon had us lined up according to the horse's preferences so their friends could be in front and behind.
Very friendly tour guides and beautiful horses. They accommodated my party of 5 for same-day reservations. My 10 year old brother had some trouble in the beginning steering his horse but the instructor was very patient with him and he soon got the hang of it. Novice riders are paired with docile gentle horses. These people know their horses and all their different personalities in order to pair you with the perfect horse. Will be coming back to Haycock Rising Stables!
I work here and all of the horses are sweet and easy to ride the trails are 1 hour long and so beautiful the trial guides are super nice and no matter how new you are at riding there will always be a horse for you.
It was an amazing experience very nice. Would go back
Awesome fun place for a horseback riding experience, fantastic service will come again
A relaxed and casual atmosphere, beautiful trails along Lake Nockamixon to ride on and one of the best trainers in the northeast if you are interested in riding lessons. Love this place - it's my home away from home.
My daughter is taking riding lessons here. Great people!
Fantastic ride!!!! The appointment was easy to make and they were ready when we arrived. Beautiful and healthy horses that are well trained. Great trails overlooking Lake Nockamixon. Allie, our trail guide, was knowledgeable and a real pleasure to ride with. Her expertise on horses and the area was impressive!!! Well done!!!! We will visit again in the fall.
We love Haycock Stables.23 have come here since my son was 6. He is 16 now. We come every summer for a trail ride down to beautiful Lake Novkamixon. The horses are well cared for. The owners have dedicated their lives to this farm. It is a wonderful activity that is priced reasonably.
My daughter wanted to ride horses for her birthday. Found Haycock Riding Stables on the internet. Took about an hour to drive there. The guide was wonderful and talked us through how to handle the horses. The trail ride starts with walking on the road with traffic to get to the park. Once at the park, the riding was very enjoyable. My horse was very gentle. My daughter really enjoyed herself. Just wish I would have brought some carrots to give the horse a tip. She deserved it!
Barb was our guide, in a group of six. She was a delight; very attentive, knows the personalities of those horses, and was a great guide/instructor. The horses are clearly well taken care of. My daughter (24) had never been riding before, and I had only ridden once before, elsewhere. My daughter really enjoyed it (especially when Barb had us make the horses trot, which she did four times). The trail is scenic, and we had a beautiful, sunny day. I plan to go back again, and highly recommend it. Note: they take checks/cash only.
