Very nice orchard with wagon rides down to the pumpkin patch. Pumpkins were fairly priced. Nothing here seemed to be overpriced. Nice playground for the kids. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great experience without emptying your wallet.
Really had a nice time, my only complaint was that the trash cans are way too close to the benches where people eat. There were dozens of bees swarming the trash cans and in turn, the tables. Obviously bees cannot be helped but by having the trash can only 3-4 feet away from the tables, it definitely increases the risk. I was stung while standing next to a picnic bench.
This is a great place to take the kids. In the fall there is a pumpkin patch- you ride in a tractor pulled wagon to get there. There's also an orchard for apple picking. Finally there is a well stocked store where you can get cider and pre-picked pumpkins.
Ive been coming to this place all my life. My mom has been coming here since she was pregnant with me and even before that. This is our family trandition to attend every year. Best apple orchard hands down!!
Yearly tradition for my family to pick apples, get cider slushies and other yummy stuff, then come October get to ride out on the pumpkin wagons to the patch and pick a pumpkin. Add in the playground and I'm certain this place will hold some of my little ones most cherished childhood memories of late summer and fall.
Decent place. Apples were delicious. Price was a bit high, but the kids had fun.
Went here today for our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We loved the variety of apples for picking and all that the cafe had to offer. They also had a live band today who were great! Can’t wait to go again!
Nice orchard
Good apples friendly people who are running the place and fair prices
Seems like a nice little orchard. Went there for the first time this year. A large selection of apples and squash and it's always fun picking apples with our daughter. We would go back.
Pleasant View Orchard is a favorite place of mine. I have been here with my family as well as groups of students. It is a family-operated business, and you get that vibe the second you walk pull in. There are several fresh fruits and even some vegetables as well as preserves, candy, fudge, and more. The apple cider slushies are my favorite item. You can even pick your own apples. In the fall, pumpkins are available, along with a couple of places for photos. Prices are always reasonable and everyone is friendly.
We enjoyed our visit. Love the fried biscuits and apple butter. Cider slush too. Bought a bag of apples. The trees were already picked over pretty good. Nice pumpkin selection and gourds. Was a beautiful day to sit outside and have a snack. Nice play area for the little ones too.
Grew up in the area and the orchard had much higher quality produce and customer service when the prior family owned/operated the business as Anderson Orchard. Never have I seen so many bruised/damaged apples sold in their pecks and bushels. Sad to see the orchard fall to the wayside. People who are just now finding this orchard and praising it have no idea what it once was.
There is now also an abundance of rotten apples on the ground throughout the season - disappointing to see so much waste when it could be given to shelters in the city to make applesauce or other products like a lot of other orchards do.
