Playtri is the best! Whether you are looking to buy your first bike, or upgrade, this is the place to go. Not only is everyone super nice and helpful, but also knowledgeable. They will make sure you get the perfect fit for you. I purchased my first bike, and learned how to clip in there. I’ve upgraded bikes now, and would not go anywhere else! They used retul fit technology to find the best bikes for me, then had me test ride all of them several times. They took the time to help me pick the perfect one for me. They also offer a 30 day trial period when you purchase a bike! They will make sure that you are happy…and fast!

I cannot get over how amazing the people who work here are. They are resourceful, kind, and truly want to help people reach their goal, whatever that may be. The group training offered has prepared me for my first triathlon and an overall lifestyle change. It was also a great way to meet like minded people that allowed a fun training experience.

If you are looking for a place that will guide you in the right direction this is the place. They will spend a ton of time trying to figure out what you are trying to accomplish, what your budget is and then advise you on the best options from there. They will never push you to do something your are not 100% prepared to do. I would tell my family and friends to shop here without giving it a second thought.

I've visited twice now, (once to pack/ship a bike and once for some mechanical help) each time I have been greeted pleasantly by both the front of the shop and by the mechanics. Gary, the chief mechanic, is knowledgeable and accommodating. I like doing business with shops that tell me what they can do rather than what they can't. Highly recommend.

My wife and I are first time riders looking for a simple road bike for 300-400. We walked into the small store and were immediately greeted by James. He had several options within our price range and adjusted the bikes so we could test drive them outback. He stayed with us for a good 30-40 minutes answering questions, adjusting the bikes, and letting us test drive. The customer service was excellent and we walked away with two bikes that we love! The total price for both of our NEW bikes was 800 with a kickstand and water bottle cage included. They also gave us some great discounts at the register!!

I will start off by saying the staff was very friendly and pleasant to work with, and I appreciated their customer service.

If you own a Cervelo, just don't bring it here. I tried to change out the wheels on my P5 before a race, and it turned into an evening of headaches and stress. They called in a Cervelo mechanic to "fix" the problems that had come up, but it shouldn't have gotten to that level in the first place. During the race, the brakes rubbed the whole ride, and the electronic shifting had been smashed, so it didn't shift.

I took the bike into Austin Tri Cycle the following weekend, and they found several glaring issues with the work that had been done (i.e. rubbing breaks and missing parts) and fixed all of them, free of charge.

The entire staff at Play Tri helped me out so much. I was interested in getting involved in triathlons and they extremely welcoming, helping me out with my bike purchase plus swim and running accessories. Singlehandedly one of the best shopping experiences I have had of my life. Upon walking in I was kindly greeted by Raina who was very knowledgeable about not only the bikes in my price range but also all of the ones they had in stock. She prepped four different bikes for me to try and took me to the back where I was able to test ride all of them. Upon deciding on the bike that I wanted I was offered a custom bike fit by Ahmed Zaher who spent over an hour and a half to get the bike to its optimal comfort and speed position for my body. Given that it was at the end of the day Ahmed stayed in the shop with me well past closing time to make sure I walked out happy.

Upon returning back to my house I detailed the bike and noticed a small scratch (one that probably most would either ignore or not notice) – I brought the bike back and happened to bump into Ahmed who immediately offered to get me on a brand new bike, also custom fitted, and to ensure that I was pleased with my purchase. Money well spent at a great location – I will definitely be back!

I entered the sport this Spring and can honestly say it wouldn't have become such a big part of my life without the Playtri guys. When you hire a coach or buy a bike here you immediately become part of the family. There is a real sense of community and support at the store and it makes you want to keep coming back for more. I'm confident you won't find a higher level of customer support in Dallas than at Playtri.
