Kelly was fantastic and stayed late to assist with my new puppy adoption. The puppy was washed and she helped me place everything in the car. Everyone was friendly and my puppy is so cute! Thanks so much!

Excellent service!! We just fell in love with our Ori-Pei! The ladies were very tentative, provided us with all the details and allowed us as much time as we wanted for bonding and ensuring we were making the best decision for our family!!

Thank you to the team at Petland! My wife and I had just arrived in Dallas for a family wedding, and were on our way to buy the wedding gift when we saw Petland and decided to stop. After visiting with Kelly and viewing the puppies we decided we wanted to move forward, but being out of state we were not sure how to make it happen. Kelly and her manager Jake (?) were super helpful, and went the extra effort to get health certificates for travel, as well as offering to open the store early on a Sunday to accommodate our travel schedule. We couldn't be happier, and Betsy (our new Boston Terrier puppy) is a great addition to our family!

They will tell you sweet stories of how puppies come from good breeders and not puppy mills and only when you already signed papers and paid thousands of dollars you can look up the name of that "breeder" only to find out that it's a puppy mill. Stupidly, we got a puppy here, brought it home, puppy was coughing all night. Now puppy has Pneumonia and looks like it's dying. But of course, they blame you for it. They insanely over-medicate poor puppies and destroy their immune system.

Very busy and hard to pick out a puppy on Saturday. We purchased a poodle for $2200 that had pneumonia. They said they couldn't do anything about it because we live in Fort Worth and didn't drive back there to their veterinarian. Pretty disappointed but very sweet puppy.

Very friendly experience and the staff was welcoming. Remembered us from our couple days back brisk visit. Provided with all the information and was courteous and shared the information in details. Which made us select and bring along with us a new member in the family. We all enjoyed the experience and surely will go back for all our pet needs

Never again! My family and I bought a puppy there on May 29. In the 2 weeks we have had him; we've been back and forth to the vet several times (at least 6) due to him being so sick. He's been on 5 different medications to try helping. After the 1st week, I tried calling the store. Asked for a manager, no one working. I knew I was wasting my time chatting with an employee, but I voiced my concerns anyway. I was told someone would call me never happened. Called again 2 days later; same scenario. I have now emailed the customer service email (yesterday) and again, I have yet to have anyone respond. The amount of money you spend is NOT worth the time you have to spend going back and forth to the vet (missing work) and the lack of communication back from the store.

    *UPDATE AS OF JUNE 16*
Not a single person has still contacted me. No email responses. NOTHING! This is outrageous. My puppy is still SICK and sadly now is having breathing treatments done. This place is ridiculous!

    *UPDATE AS OF SEPT 12*
As per the "response from owner" no one ever contacted me. We ended up going through the BBB because we couldn't get an answer back from the store and again, no resolution. Complete joke. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

I was there approximately a week ago. It is always upsetting to me to see dogs and cats or any animal in need of homes. It may not be a shelter, but these little guys definitely want forever homes too. Some employees are more helpful. There are many yet I'm not sure what half of them are doing. One guy walks around with birds hanging onto him. The buggy used by someone stayed near the front door with no one removing it. The store is small, full of items and anything blocking the entrance or exit is probably not a good idea. Yet there are employees aplenty. A certain employee I think Sarah should speak nice about all the puppies. I'm certain she called one dog cuter than another because it was more expensive and her commission would be higher on the one she called "cuter". I'm sorry to say that as I watched the goings on, the sales people just don't appear to show genuine care for the puppies. They treat them as though they were pulling shoes off the rack. I realize their goal is to sell as many as they can for that commission. It's too bad they don't show that same affection when talking about or retrieving the puppies as they do the affection for that money. I would never buy a family pet this way. I'm glad these little guys have an opportunity to find forever homes. It's solely a money making business and that's how the employees behave. Show me the $$

This was the worst store ever. I took my son over here to buy a puppy. All the puppies are so cute but often have terrible health. A month later a close friend of ours bought a dog from here. The dog was in terrible condition when the family bought it. It had scratches.FYI we decided not to decide from here and buy from a breeder.

Awesome experience. Sarah is great on knowing her dogs and and the program offered. We live 4 hours away from store and she is working with us on using our own vet and still receiving all store special offers. Have had many dogs over the years but this is first dog ever purchased. The wheaton terrier was our choice.

You have to go to their vet. And the price quoted for the spayed or neutered is not the actual price that Petland said to us so far I have paid 6000 for vet bills and the dog I have owned pure breeds before never spent this much total within the first 6 months. They make it sound like a good deal but it's not worth it I regret buying this dog when I found a similar dog and akc registered for half the price and I get to choose my vet. I was quoted by the vet of Petland choice 198 for her getting fixed and ended up paying over 200 and they took a more aggressive approach to her being fixed.
