never going to Platos closet again i braught in a bag full of clothes rolled up and i berely was able to get them in there, they jand my bag back with omly a quarter of the bag full and said they took 6 items which they took more, and one of the items were brand new $50 jordan slides, they gave me $27. totally not worth my time for them to make such a huge profit

Workers were mean, as I stood there at the register for 5 min before someone approached me. Obviously they care more about Thier secret Santa than a paying customer

Came here a few weeks ago and was so thrilled with how friendly and helpful the girls were in the store. Great selection of clothes too! They had 4 ways set up specifically by brand. Awesome idea and super helpful to shoppers.

Worst store that I ever visited. I used to sell many of my daughters clothes at the Platos in Ohio. I just brought a large amount of my daughters clothes, only to be told "we don't buy that labeloh, that's really old etc.." so, they don't buy J Crew, forever 21, urban outfitters, HM???? Wowwhat a waste of my time and gasleft the store having sold 2 t shirts for 3.00. I will NEVER go back there. On a previous visit, we were told that they could only give us store credit, because they had "run out of cash" for the day. Horrible franchise. Don't waste your time there.

i'm not sure how this store gets good reviews. it's horrible. customer service is bad. they only take clothes for cash the first 20-40 minutes after they open. i called ahead to make sure they were still doing cash and they said yes, told them i would be there in 20 and they said it's fine. when i got there they informed me they weren't doing cash. very rude workers

Brought in a lot of clothing never used either from forever 21 h&m loft pacsun all the name brand stores I know how weird they are about name brand they bought nothing blamed it on not being name brand when I got home I looked in the bag which I culd tell they didn't even look through, then looked at the two rompers I bought and noticed they had tied the broken spaghetti strap together then noticed on the other rhomper a broken spaghetti strap and while shopping noticed a lot of clothing that is two dollars off of wish being sold for 10 platos closet isn't a rip off but sadly the manager hired girls who don't know anything about working at a used clothing store and should be completely re staffed ecspecially since I can get better priced clothes never used from h&m and forever 21. Don't trust this store their scam artists and the girls really love treating u like your nothing when ur doing them a favor by selling name brand clothing to them their store surely needs it.

Great selection of clothes, love how it's set up by size and color. Makes finding matching outfits much easier! Also, the staff was super helpful and patient as I tried on a bunch of clothes!

Amazing customer service! I went in and sold quite a few higher end items which usually would take some time. I was helped by Deon, the manager. She was extremely helpful and had a great personality! I was very pleased with both of the employees working also!! They were all terrific. Not to mention, I was in and out very quickly! For anyone looking for great deals and awesome customer service, visit Plato's!!

Only rating them a 1 star because 0 isn't an option. Any establishment that thinks it's appropriate to fire a dedicated, hardworking employee while out on maternity leave should be ashamed of themselves. The management is corrupt and I wouldn't spend a penny at this store. You're better off spending your money at a store that values employees. Not a two timing establishment that schemes to benefit their two faced management; rather than abide by a contract that was written for a dedicated employee of seven years with a new family, to an employer who dumped them as soon as an immature ex manager decided she wanted to grow up. This place should be ashamed of their actions and I only hope karma comes full circle.
Platos Closet of Bradenton is a disgrace to the franchise name and I pray corporate further investigates into this instance.response / report this review -

Has everything organized. It's easy to just go and find what you need an walk out. I do most of my shopping there and I always tend to find the cutest outfits. They always tend to have the perfect outfits when you need something in season. And at times have it organized by name brand. Everything is so cute there even the clothes they choose to hang on the walls ❤❤❤
